Hi brother everything is fine and you are doing good, my wishes. but i would like to tell a humble suggestion that please re route the charger wiring along with the chase and not to route it with the fuel hose, please remove and re route brother. I am telling this because for the safety aspect as we Himalayan Owners would do off roading ,the wire or the house might get damage so for safer side please re route the charger wiring, Ride Hard, Ride Safe Brother.
Hey, Thanks for your valuable suggestion and writing about it. For the wiring passing you are worried about have nothing to do with the rough driving or offroading because as a Himalayan rider we know how much exposed wiring we have on that bike. The wiring have nothing to do with the off-road beating you through on bike. I have been riding it for a long time and not face any problem what so ever til now plus it is a very easy process and one could do it at home without much of a machinical knowledge, to make it simple and easy to fix and as well as remove it easily without much of a hustle. If the wiring is done though under the tank as you are suggesting is also a way of doing it but one have to remove the tank and it's very time consuming so why do it in a tough way. Yes you can use it on classic.
I will suggest you to mount it in as close to the middle of the handlebar so to avoid high-speed vibrations.
