During a live link to ITV’s Lorraine from Good Morning Britain, where McVey appeared as a guest on Monday morning, Susanna Reid said: “Do you remember Esther McVey from her GMTV days?” Kelly glossed over the question, shook her head and said curtly: “Yeah, yes I do. OK, coming up after half past eight...” McVey was previously a television presenter in the 1990s.

@@sjcsjc1378 Politicians get a bad rap, often deservedly, as they know they often have to lie to win votes. But the Tory Party is particularly untrustworthy as it's a fundamentally corrupt party IMHO, permanently in bed with bankers, big business and tax-dodging media magnates. New Labour became just as bad in order to win power, hence why it quickly disintegrated and is now a distant memory.
