It was definitely worth the trip still! I took the earliest possible flight 😅🤣 i had an option to stop over in ohare, but said no cause ohare is always delayed 🥲
Great video Steve. Those in ears and that whole process looks amazing. Love the RCF speakers as well. Keep it up and get some rest. Always a treat to see Audrey.
Sorry you had that experience this year Yes! it was from Thurs.- Sat.. this time. Sad about you Plane ARRIVAL.. I ran in Danish PET & ROB @ their Booth on day #2. Super nice guys and Instruments!
Hi Steve, never done namm due to living in the UK but have gone to our equivalent over here. I don’t know if you’re aware but I’ve got a feeling that the company that owns ultimate ears is the one that recently bought Marshall - if you’re doing work with them it may not hurt to see about any cross publicity they may want you to do 👍
@@SteveSterlacci my bad - I’m getting it mixed up with Urbanears. You should try some of the Marshall-style amps anyway - the Friedmans in particular are always good!
The answer to your row 1 to row 2 question seems to be that even though each row has it's own core, rows 1 and 2 are tied and rows 3 and 4 are tied via their shared processor/cache/etc (read this in a facebook group, so if it's way off base, excuse me). I think they're doing it this way to prevent overloading 1 CPU.
I totally understand that part. But why can't we fill up chip 1 on rows 1 and 2? If we can use a split block and fill it up anyway, why cant we do it without wasting a block
@@SteveSterlacci My guess is this is core (no pun intended) to their hardware and software architecture. Like they made that call a long time ago and it's baked into everything they've built since. So despite it seeming like a simple fix, it's more like knocking the foundation out from under the building. Again, just a guess based on other hardware/software projects Ive known. NDSP is also VERY SLOW with updates as you know, so it wouldn't shock me if they have a really small dev team for the QC.
@Ben Burnett always look forward to these comments Ben. Helix update vid was filmed, and then somehow deleted. So i need to find a second to get to that lol
I was wondering about that row 1 and 2. I was always wondering WTH we had to go to Row 3. Thanks for that one. Yes, it doesn't make sense I thought I was the only one scratching their head on that one. Do you have to plug in the QC via USB to use the desktop app?
Thanks! She was unfortunately found with her back legs cut off and left for dead. Shes got the greatest life ever now and lives in her prosthetic legs, spoiled as ever
@@SteveSterlacci that's dreadful. I can't comprehend how someone could do that. Fantastic that you have given her a good home. That impresses me far more about you than your guitar playing (which obviously impresses me too).
Still a useful video so thanks for doing it. The rule of thumb now is if you have time to kill, fly. If you need to be somewhere, drive if you can.

I had the digital scans from UE and it was great! I think the traditional silicone molds are still great though. That is what I had done at JH Audio.
Nice!! This was def the easiest and coolest

Its definitely the best for it!

That would be awesome! I think theyre owned by Logitech though?

RCF, which are you using? Art 9, Art 9 AX, Art 7?
We have been using the evox 12s and the mentioned NX12SMA for my tones
What’s up Steve!!
My brotha!
