Maybe try tying it up in a scarf os substituting with a stress ball? You definitely want to try to keep your hands out of your hair as much as possible. Good luck!

Hey, no they’re not the same. Interlocking refers to the method or technique of establishing a loc. During the interlocking process locticians will usually use a tool to essentially knot your hair with various rotations. Retightening refers to the process of locking your regrowth as your hair grows out. In my case, the interlocking method is used to retie my locs, but there are various other methods that can be used to retighten your locs. I hope that helps!

haha, sometimes I wonder if my sense of humour is too random for this platform so I'm always happy when other people appreciate it. But yes, I've seen quite a few people start off their locs with braid/twist combos. It might take a bit longer to fully lock but I've definitely seen it work.

I do the same thing. Braiding or flat twisting my hair usually cuts this down by 97%.
