Hi Serge. Absolutely, you do not need to be scared of Cape Town! If you go there, when it's summertime (january-march), you can find conditions suitable for every kind of windsurfer.
At Sunset Beach, for instance, waves due to windswell are generally 1-2 meters high. Seldom, you can have big swell reaching 4-5 meters.
You have lots of spots, from the most demanding (Cape Point, e.g.), to the easiest ones. You can choose the one right for you. @@Waterwind_it Thanks Mate!!! Just one more question. I am 80 kg and have 89 ltr Thruster board and 99 ltr Free Wave. Which one you will advice for CP? And which range of sails will be better for January 3,7 - 4,2 - 4,7 or 4,2 - 4,7 - 5,3.....all North Sails Super Hero 4 battens. Thanks 😎🙏🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@sergebonichi9635 I am 70 kgs and I take only my 80 liters board with me, and 3.7, 4.2, 4.7. So, I guess that 89 liters and sails ranging from 4.2 to 5.3 are the right choice for you. Generally, you have 25 kts in the late morning, and more than 30 kts in the afternoon. Obviously, these are conditions that you don't have all the days, but if it's sunny, it's likely to be like that. All the Best. Fabio
