Does a player from graduating class of 2019 get this year? My son went back down to juco due to all that crap with Covid. He didn’t want to sit out a year due to the one time transfer. But the school s compliance officer is telling every player he doesn’t really think they qualify. He and his teammates were all 2019 grads , played juco and were seniors this year.
@ well that’s the thing i technically only played 2 years at Naia that actually counted towards my eligibility because juco during covid didn’t count and i only played one season before that
If you only played one year in junior college and then played two seasons in naia but want to go back and play junior college is it possible to play your second year at your juco?
My son is a senior(in 4th year of college) at a NAIA school as a baseball player. He played one year (sophomore year) at a Jr College. If this holds up, does it mean he will get an extra year (5th year) ???
Does this apply if I am a senior in soccer at a D1 school, I played 1 year in JUCO my freshman year, and graduate this upcoming spring 2025. Does this mean I am eligible for 1 more year next year for sure, if I just exhausted my last season of eligibility this year?
Why don't you think that this won't become a standard for everyone, why you think that this won't translate into eligibility for juco athletes across the board
Merry Christmas/happy new year!
@GOCAPSDMV same to you!
What if my ncaa ran out last year
@@jaybenzmusic doesn’t apply then.

What if your a senior this year at a NAIA? Can you now play a year next year at a D1 or D2 school
Should be correct but make sure to verify with advisors at your school.

It only applies if his eligibility ends this spring.
What about schools like westmont and Jessup that went from naia to ncaa lat year? Do they, essentially, get a double senior class next year?
Possibly. We’ll have to see.
Do you think any future changes would be imminent for someone who say, did Juco Pre-COVID?
so if i played juco during covid and i played 2 years of naia after so i get those 2 years back?
@@dbemarkodadonn Right now you only get the one year of extra eligibility if your official eligibility ends this spring.

I played 3 years NAIA at UC Merced and my 4th year at UC Merced as we joined NCAA d2 my final year. Will this waiver apply to me ?
No.
Does this apply to Division || players as much as it applies to Division | ?
@@damyjaortiz2734 it’s not very clear on that right now.
@@EliteSportsAdvisingESA ok thank you. Also do you have an idea when that final decision will be made ?
There is only 1 answer to have a full proof plan… stay healthy and be a super elite player holding all the cards🎉

Sure why not just get a good lawyer find a judge and just like that your back playing comm college baseball ⚾️ 😂🤯
Does this apply to soccer also if I m a senior this season 24/25 and played 2 years of juco?
I'm assuming yes, but I specifically deal with baseball so make sure to double check that with your team's academic advisor, etc.

Based on the information you're giving me I am 95% sure he would get the extra year of eligibility. Barring anything new that comes out.

@@cyerra5531 yes it should. Always confirm with a counselor at your school.
Another kick in the butt for 2025 class.

@@vickijacobson4324 I do think it will eventually happen. It’s just a question of the timeframe.
So red shirt players get 6 years or they will possibly eliminate the red shirt rules. Most likely anyway.
@@AntonEberhart will have to wait and see.
