- How fast is the sheep moving as seen by the lion?
In previous videos, we have already seen how to calculate relative velocity in 1D.
In this video let's extend this concept to the next level, to 2D motion.

"an angry sheep chasing a lion"
I can't be the only one who finds this funny
Thank you, that was the intent :)
I just started watching, and I already love this video because of it.
INDEED 😍
This man is a genius…these vids help me in visualising physics in an era where most people are jsut concerned with getting their equations and solutions right without imagining☣
Intuition abt the concept was what I was looking for... Rest of the videos chase after JEE NEET or something.....
U just saved my and my friends' lives man..
I insist on making videos on more similar concepts. Thank you
That was really amazing thanks bro
Amazing dude thanx a lot
I love Khan Academy. How do they such great teachers?!
This really helped me a lot. Awesome!
Great explanation Sir Mahesh, much effort was put into this, Thankyou! 😇
Uh really teaches good 💯
This video cleared my all the doubts..
Thanks alot
Amazing! Thank you!
This was really helpful
Can you do the river boat problem (in fact could you do a whole neet series, like there's a lot of series on it on UA-cam but no one actually explains the concepts well, as a student, it feels really horrible just solving stuff w/o understanding like what's the point)
Simply superb!!! The best ever explanation for relative velocity in 2-D! ✨✨
Angry sheep chasing lion 💀☠️
Lion remembers that he’s lion💀☠️☠️
Good explanation!
The animation was amazing 👌
the best teacher I never had.
Explained really well.🙌🏻🙌🏻
Tq for help
Cool sir thank you a lot
Thankyou very mach tjis was very helpful
Nice video+ drawing😀
Thank you so much Sir.
Thanks a lot
This is awesome👌. However please upload relative velocity for non right angle triangle two fullfill this concept.. thank you
Fantastic😉😉😉

As soon as i saw him move the ground downwards, i immediately where this is going
Thanks
Do it for full syllabus
Thank you
super
That "aaaaahh"
I have a doubt.. U calculated that the relative velocity as 5m/s and then gav the formula as Vsl=Vs-Vl. but substituting the values, I get 4-3=1m/s which isnt 5m/s..????
U used the scalar subtraction bt really it is vector written over there
It can be solved as:
The sheep is moving with 4m/s towards east on x-axis so it can be written as 4î m/s..... And the lion is moving 3m/s towards north on y-axis so it's velocity would be written as 3j(cap) m/s,,, so now u can perform simple adition as they have been chenged to vector now.....
So combined velocity = 4î+3j
It's magnitude comes out to be 5m/s so it is the answer....
@@aminion3979 exactly bro.👍👍
It is in Vector Format so we use 4^2 +3^2 *under root* = 25 *under root* = 5m/s (there is aan arrow above Vsl and Vs and Vl
Sheep chasing a lion is strictly imaginary
I guess I was paying a Studypug subscription for nothing
Is it necessary to copy American accent?
I mean, it's blatantly obvious that you are an Indian trying to speak American accent, so why bother?
None of your business, you moron!
if you don't like the video then just click off the video mate
He is trying to do an American accent because it is easier to understand than the Indian accent for non-Indians, he is doing it because he wants to make it easier for the likes of you and me to understand what he's saying, because he cares about you, and what do you do? You just act like the ungrateful brat you are and criticize him for it, you imbecile.
