Why would you not put both videos side by side to each other to get a real comparison. These like these ones front go to show the difference don’t really make sense to when it comes to that point.
@@tuned4life there are actual subtle changes, and they make a difference in some scenarios. The lighting has been updated, and the reflections have been shown to be more clear than on the One version. The reflections include car model reflections, water reflections, and other object reflections. Aliasing has also been improved on, but a lot of it is ruined by UA-cam video compression.
One thing you have to remember is that all of these games were originally made for Xbox one. so you can't really expect to see that much of an improvement on the new console when the game was not actually designed for that particular console. once the new Forza is released for the new Xbox console, I believe it will look even better than this. Just my honest opinion 🤔
The biggest thing for me is the pricing i mainly play pc since but haveing gamepass and some games being cross play is pretty nice. The 300 console from Microsoft was a good move in my eyes.
Very impressive. Can’t wait for my Series S to arrive. Hopefully the game devs update the games to optimise for consoles’ power. And with most of these games on game pass it’s going to be really awesome.

I have a series s and the resolution is OBVIOUSLY lower than that of a series x..... not mentioning the HUGE difference in FPS in some games like no man's sky, oh and the 4K is available on SOME games and UNLIKE the series x it is not native it is rescaled which means the original resolution is around 1080p.

The Series S holds itself pretty well most of the time. I do own one, and I'm not so happy with it, but the reason is definitely not picture quality. It's the very small storage space.

Totally agree with that. These days I'm not bothered about having the absolute best. The series S is going to give you same amount of enjoyment, unless you are planning to game on a 65" screen.
There is a difference but very subtle. I think the difference will be a lot more noticeable in a year or two when games are pushing graphical boundaries
Anyone reckon there will be any difference in texture quality, draw distance etc between the consoles for future games? id prefer playing 1080p with more frames than 4k. My tv only outputs 30fps in 4k native so im not planning on really playing that resolution. I dont really see much of a difference between 1080p and 4k but better textures are still very noticeable in games.
@Vicious Alien Klown World and CPU that is miles ahead of the Xbox One processor... I ready they actually stuck with the processor in the 2013 Xbone in the One X it was a huge bottleneck.
I only have a 1080p so I can't tell the difference in resolution but one thing that really caught my eye is that the X seems to have anti aliasing and S didn't so even with a 1080p the x still looks better. Also the view distance as well stood out.
@@shanrajps4545 Anti aliasing basically makes edges look less jagged by smoothing out them with some random method, such as downscaling from resolutions over what you can display, or (I think) using approximations between surrounding pixels.
X has the slight edge. All depending on the gamer that could make all the difference or be as little of difference as you see in the video. X has the better draw distance and a little bit smoother background to foreground process you could notice as the car was moving again. Not terribly noticeable but you do notice a small difference. The trees in the background each slowly appeared as the driver whizzes through them. Then for S some just kinda popped up in some areas (more along the edges of the screen) not terribly noticeable but that was about the only thing I noticed if you even consider that a discrepancy of any kind.
like you really have to hone in on these clips to be able to see them. it's not like a jump at you noticable difference though. you may even have to watch it a few times before you finally spot something that's how remarkably close it is to the X. I couldn't notice any real difference besides that and that's only cause it's on a UA-cam. if I was playing forza I probably never would've saw it.
With the newest update for NFS Remastered, the S sadly does not get the 60fps mode the One X had. It is more than capable but damn EA is keeping the S from stretching its legs. The Series X performs so much better now with Maximum mode available. 60fps should be all day everyday for racing games.
After moving to a PC I can see the Arcadie look the console got, I would or couldn't go back to a console after playing RaceRoom, AMS2, And AC on the liquid cooled i7 10th gen, 16gb vengence ram, With a 1660 super 6gb OC card, Overclock it to 4.8ghz not that i plan on over clocking really, The little 1660 super paired with the i7 10th gen looks dope, I cant lie, On AC benchmark i got 222fps, Not to shabby considering this PC cost me less than a PS5, lol, And prob knock spots off the PS5 as well, I am strictly sim racing only tho, Got 4th place on the leaderboard challenge on the Nords in the BMW 325i, 7.51 again not to shabby, I will be ready for E-sports soon enough, Getting purple tags on my laptimes on RaceRoom on the Nordsliefe is giving me more intensive to start racing the Pro's, I only been sim racing 2 years..... I cut my sim racing feet so to speak on a console so a console is great for learning tracks and having fun, But serious sim racing needs a PC, Plain and simples, A PC can understand the physics better in my experience coming from console, My laptimes are faster on a PC coz it feels a lot more real, Sim racing helps my mental health not being able to go out due to CPTSD i found sim racing, Learning the Nordsliefe, I want to master, No corner is ever the same, Its why i loves the Nordsliefe..... For serious sim racing tho a PC is needed..... Top video tho bro.......

I only say this because FH4 has some really nasty good sounds, like the Supra and LFA, and the updated sounds that really actually sound good. FH3 had good sounds, but overused them across the board, like the V8's and V12's, and even shared the same sounds for the Supra and R34.
The only noticeable difference I saw was The Crew 2. That game looks significantly better on the SeriesX than the S. Other than that most games are fairly equal.

UA-cam compression ruins the quality, and you're gonna need a large screen to notice a difference.
Don't think the same game will look that different as there is only that much you can do to enhance it on a more powerfull console

@@blazesmooth5573 are you on drugs? I said FH3 sounds great, and FH4, FOR THE MOST PART, sounds incredible. I only say this because FH4 has some really nasty good sounds, like the Supra and LFA, and the updated sounds that really actually sound good. FH3 had good sounds, but overused them across the board, like the V8's and V12's, and even shared the same sounds for the Supra and R34.

That game looks significantly better on the SeriesX than the S. Other than that most games are fairly equal.
If you crank it up and see you'll notice even forza horizon looking worse

One thing I notice is the better draw distance detail and loading.
You won't see a difference for S will age faster as games get more demanding but it bridges the gap between generations fine
So now get the S and then over a few years get the XS or X pro what the name will be. the only big thing is storage. 500 gb is not so many. Even 1tb is full within 7 games now. So you cannot have a collection right the way as in the past with the x box 360 when you have 20 game cd's.

The series S is not a bad console at all. It truly an HD version of the Series X. Basically Xbox Series HD and Xbox Series 4k

Sure if you’re not a regular video gamer Xbox series S is more than capable enough, to run FIFA and 2K.You can then spend the money saved not buying Xbox series X for something that you are more into than video gaming.Nothing wrong been a casual video gamer at all, as they are in fact the majority.
