I think I have an alternative view on this. HaShem said for Moses to have the Israelites to camp before Pi-hahiroth, the mouth of the caverns, and for him to camp in front of Baal-zephon, the master of the north. which is the left hand. Pharaoh will see this and think that they are entangled in the wilderness or confused and involved with evil. Are there no graves? This was a spiritually evil and dead place. Pharaoh was wise enough to know this. HaShem spilt the Red Sea or the Sea of Weeds (evil). Evil demons and fallen angels which once roamed freely were forced into the Red sea, the split caused two walls one on the right and one on the left. The Red Sea spilt took all of Pharaoh's men down to the abyss, lower waters now filled with locusts (demons and evil spirits). The Red Sea is a spiritual army of fallen evil, greedy spirits, filled with lust for blood and money. The evil red army still seeks those willing to throw their lives away in sacrifice for evil, like modern day terrorists, doomed for the abyss.
