Nice and entertaining video, I got one of those beasts some weeks ago and I’m totally in love on how it renders at low ISO, both in terms of natural colors and fine details depiction, rapidly becoming one of my absolute cameras of all time!

I've owned two of these, and the images are truely unique. Really beautiful. The only problem is the firmware and the CF card compatability. I always had issues with these failing about every 3rd shot or just killing an image. 50-60% success rates across both cameras was just not acceptable. GREAT images, terrible user experience. Also - no way you can use this at night or more than 5s of long exposure. Lastly, ISO 200+ is garbage. Noise is unreal. For the price, just move along. Today even the backs go for $1300 for a 22mm Medium Format. By the time you get into a 645AF body and a lens ... 1800, and you can buy a Pentax 40mpx 645D body for that.
Just unique, but still garbage for what you spend in 2020.
Also GFX cameras are really good
The 645 Sekor is actually equivalent to 50 mm 1.2 (1,178) on full frame.
On Leaf aptus ii-12 it is more almost 1.1
I had 2 of these, I sold 1 and kept the other with a selection of lenses 35mmD / 80mmD / 55-110mm/ 150mm, camera & lenses all MINT condition, the camera looks like new. Even in 2020 this camera, at base ISO, can hold it's own, fantastic for landscapes. Keep shooting CCD sensors, they have the magic, like M9Mono.

Did you ever get your auto focus fixed? I have recently got a ZD and the quality is amazing, it works perfectly just the af is not working.
The back of that Mamiya Is pretty similar to the back side of a Nikon D100
interesting, as these lenses look like the phase one 645 afd style, as used on it, and the leaf afs, and other similar gen cameras, these are the digital forrunners to the phase one XF system, also that 80 mm f1.9 is NOT the only one in the world, a few years ago (2017?) Hasselblad brought one out to kit with the new 907x system; and there may also be an equivalent in the Leica S/S2 line of cameras, as these are MF too (and just look into the 90mm and the other big lens, and the quality you get out of these, blow ones mind, esp, some of the perspective AUTO corrections some of these cameras do all by themselves, auto recognition)-just look into Nick Rains videos, he is Aussie rep for Leica here, but he goes into this in one video, WOW .

Tempted to get one but I’m just a hobbyist.
I had two of these ... the ZD back and the ZD camera. THe results were amazing. The camera on the other hand ... broke more than once. Its still a super buggy body, which is why I hesitate to buy it again
