As a warriors fan, Chris Paul was still incredible when he’s out there. Just as you said, he does literally every little thing imaginable that contributes to a regular season win. So savy and always makes the right play. He’d go several games without a TO, it was fun to have him.
@@justinholland6132 lmao yes he was. The bench unit was far more efficient than the starters because of him during the first half of the season. What derailed his impact was both his age and the fact that he got injured. Not to mention the team was really just trash these last two seasons in general.
Been a huge CP3 fan for a long time. Was really rooting for you guys when he was with you all as I wanted him to win a ring. It’s too bad that his body hit a wall after that 2-0 series lead over Dallas in 2022 before losing that series. He hasn’t looked like an elite player ever since then. As a Spurs fan I’m still glad to have him and him helping develop the youngsters but oh how I really wanted him to win that ring where he was the first or second best player on the championship team before he retired. Sadly it’s looking like that time has passed now. Still a great HOF career though just had some bad luck in the playoffs even though most of the time he would ball out.
0:49 what makes the Wemby/CP3 connection great is the high IQ from both of them, many players will miss the corner pass but Wemby is smart enough to make that pass right away. Spurs will be better this season because the rest of the guys will pick up on the intricacies and intelligence that those 2 permeate throughout the games and behind the scenes. Harrison Barnes was a good pickup as well
People have been wondering who will be the spurs pg of the future after Paul leaves. A lot of people said Castle but I’m thinking maybe Dylan Harper (since the spurs get the hawks pick and the hawks suck)
I have a feeling CP3 is gonna average like 8-10 assists this year. I almost can't think of someone better suited to facilitate and complement Wemby's game than a guy like Chris Paul. Imagine what they would look like together if Paul was 5 years younger.
You don't know ball. He's only a few months older than Wemby and was a top 5 perimeter defender last season by metrics. His FT% went from 43% to 77% overnight by switching to one-handed. He's consistently showing improvement. You probably started watching when Wemby joined the team. Just looking at the numbers shows me your'e clueless of what you speak of.
@@xXryanleifursonXx I never said that I used the eye test. The original comment seems to think that he sucks, so I guess they never looked at his stats and just trust their shitty eyes.
This mightve been a realistic take if cp3 was 5 years younger, but hes cooked now. Teams will just pressure wemby and dare cp3 to drive to the basket and make tough layups every time. He doesnt have the stamina to make 15+ FG attempts like that a game
@@mekacrabhis jumper just ain't the same anymore. CP3 was a point god cause he could still create space with his shiftiness, but now that that's declining, he's getting contested on his midrange shots from the edge of the key. It's sad but father time is still undefeated.
@@superbtake cp3's shiftiness has declined a lot. He couldn't even stay on the court with Curry for a reason you know... If SA wants to keep CP3 on the court they might need to go 3 out. Unfortunately this defeats the purpose of keeping Sochan. Basically, San Antonio has a lot of readjusting to do next season while CP3 continues to decline.

Hes such an amazing player
he is one of those types of players you LOVE to have when he's on your team, and absolutely hate playing against 😂
No he wasn't lol. What's up with the revisionist history? His stats weren't good and neither was his impact

Being a CP3 fan since his days with Clippers, how I wish he's 5 years younger just to see him play with an actual alien
Blake Griffin was not that far off from an alien tho
the duo I never knew I needed
3:04 When fxck it Wemby down there somewhere is taken too far
I really miss Cp3 on the suns. But him and wemby together has potential for something amazing. Cant wait
That suns team was nasty. That bucks vs suns chip was one of the best in a long time
Imagine if CP3 was in his prime or even in his Houston/Phoenix days that would still be a scary team on paper
Phoenix will always love CP3. Top 3-5 point guard of all time.

I love Wemby and CP3
They are gonna be 🔥
Stephon Castle also man will grow from CP3
I just subscribed. I love the way he breaks down the game 💯

Nolan Traore is a nice possibility in the next draft. He will be great.
Love your channel bro
he needs to take tre jones under his wing for when he goes down because wemby is going to get spoiled by the point god
CP3 was great during his time with my Suns. He unlocked Book and made DA look like the real deal. No doubt he’ll do the same with Wemby.

Never forget how CP3 led a bunch of young Thunders to the playoffs in 2020 and gave us some of the biggest upsets
All the vet PG got an all star big man. CP3, Russ, and dame
🔥
w video name change
CP3 looks like an ordinary player in spurs jersey.
I'm with you bro. But end of the day CP3 is still 40. Father Time might lock him up
💪🏿💪🏿
Chris paul is top 5 pg ever
So all config is easy bucket for him
Hes definitely going to help them lose games and tank again.
