    I feel like Plunder is lacking a very powerful end piece that's harder to summon, so to me a Ritual Pendulum monster would make sense. So you would first have to get it into your hand, and then into the extra deck (as a face up pendulum monster, sorta like Jord) to then summon it with Black/White/Redbeard. Ofc that would be pretty huge investment so the card would have to be really strong

    Okay let me cook for a moment:
    Wind Ship
    Rank 8/ Scale 5/ WIND
    Fiend/Xyz/Pendulum/Effect
    Monster Effect:
    2 Level 8 monsters
    If you can Pendulum Summon Level 8, you can Pendulum Summon this face-up card in your Extra Deck.
    Once per turn you can also Xyz Summon "Wind Ship" by using a "Plunder Patrollship" or a "Plunder Patroll Captain" you control as material. You can only Xyz Summon "Wind Ship" once per turn this way.
    You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card OR discard 1 "Plunder Patroll" card; banish 1 monster your opponent controls or in their GY with the same Attribute as a monster you control. This is a Quick Effect if this card is equipped with a "Plunder Patroll" Card.
    You can target 1 "Plunder Patroll" monster in your GY; place this card in your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, Special Summon that target.
    You can only use each effect of "Wind Ship" once per turn.
    Pendulum Effect:
    If you would discard a card(s) to activate the effect of a "Plunder Patroll" card, you can return this card face-up to your Extra Deck instead.
    I decided to expand on the Jord combo a bit, giving you the ability to remove the Token and provide ressources with the Pendulum Effect, while also trying to give them easy access to GY disruption.

    Plunder patroll is my favourite deck, the biggest issue plunder has is that it hasn't got as much protection as other decks in the format and the fact that we need at least 1 more monster/spell or trap (in the main deck) that's useful

    Well all of the plunder patrol monsters in the ED can be special summoned properly, so it should be more sense to be a rank 4 right..
    And also as jord effects was intended to help us making board, it would be nice if we have a wind ship that could help to break boards 🤔

    You’ll probably need the first effect to be hard once per turn, else itll be able to reused multiple times which seems kinda busted.
    I think plunder is really missing the spell/trap negate so that is something they could definitely add on here. I feel like the water ship would probably be the consistency booster instead

    I kinda agree about the ritual idea, although thinking more about it gave me an idea. What about a ritual pendulum card, whose pendulum effect is it's own ritual spell? So no need for an extra card. Something like a wind attribute, illusion type instead of fiend, ghostship. "With this card in your pendulum zone, whenever a monster is sent to either players GY, place 1 [?] Counter on this card. During either players turn (except during the damage step) you can remove 3 [?] Counters from this card, special summon this card to the extra monster zone or a main monster zone that a link monster points to". With a monster effect that is like an on summon hand rip/special summon from GY effect. Plus "when this card is destroyed by card effect, return it to your pendulum zone" I think something along those lines could be really cool, not likely..but cool

    Great video! But I feel like the wind ship you made doesn't fit the Plunder Patroll themes as well as it could. The bounce would be great for the archetype, but it's a little weird when most of the cards banish for removal. I think it would be better to have an effect to equip an opponent's monster to one of yours and treat it as a "Plunder Patroll" card if you wanted a different form of removal.
    Based on previous ships, we're missing wind(/water?) attribute and XYZ/Pendulum and Fusion/Pendulum classifications. Looking at the effects, we have a monster banish/destruction protection, S/T banish, monster effect negate, and special summon from deck/token generation. With that in mind, I think we could have a wind ship that is a spell/trap version of Jord and a water ship that is a spell/trap version of Lys. My idea is to use Jord as a starter and preferably end on the wind and water ships in the pendulum zones. I would also like some recursion in the deck to allow for a more midrange style of gameplay. With that said, here are my ideas:
    PLUNDER PATROLLSHIP VIND
    Rank 4/Scale 9/WIND
    Fiend/XYZ/Pendulum/Effect
    Monster Effect:
    2 level 4 monsters
    You can also XYZ Summon this card by using a "Plunder Patrollship" monster you control as material. You can only XYZ Summon "Plunder Patrollship Thor" once per turn this way. If you can Pendulum Summon Level 8, you can Pendulum Summon this face-up card from your extra deck. If your opponent activates a Spell/Trap card or effect (except during the Damage Step): You can add 1 "Plunder Patroll" card from your Deck to your hand, then if this card is equipped with a "Plunder Patroll" card, you can activate 1 "Plunder Patroll" Spell/Trap card from your Deck. You can send 1 "Plunder Patroll" card from your hand to the GY; place this card in your Pendulum Zone. You can target 1 "Plunder Patroll" card in your GY; detach one material from this card and equip it to one "Plunder Patroll" monster you control. You can only use each effect of "Plunder Patrollship Thor" once per turn.
    Pendulum Effect:
    If you would discard a card to activate a "Plunder Patroll" card or effect, you can banish any monster your opponent controls with the same Attribute as a monster you control instead, and if you do, return this card to the Extra Deck. You can only use this effect of "Plunder Patrollship Thor" once per turn.

    Level 8/Scale 5/WATER
    Fiend/Fusion/Pendulum/Effect
    Monster Effect:
    2 "Plunder Patroll" Monsters
    During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon 1 "Plunder Patroll" monster from your GY or Banishment. When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 "Plunder Patroll" card; negate the effect, and if you do, destroy it, then if this card is equipped with a "Plunder Patroll" card, you can add 1 "Plunder Patroll" card from your GY to your hand. You can target up to 3 "Plunder Patroll" cards in your GY; place them on the bottom of your Deck in any order, then draw the same number of cards, and if you do, place this card in your Pendulum Zone. You can only use each effect of "Plunder Patrollship Vann" once per turn.
    Pendulum Effect:
    If you have a "Plunder Patrollship" card in your other Pendulum Zone, you can increase or decrease this card's Pendulum Scale by 4 until the end of the turn. When you would discard a card to activate a "Plunder Patroll" card or effect, you can return 1 "Plunder Patroll" card from your GY or Banishment to your deck instead, and if you do, return this card to the Extra Deck. You can only use this effect of "Plunder Patrollship Vann" once per turn.

    I think your concept for for the wind ship is solid. I was also thinking the wind ship could bounce/spin. How do you feel about the ship bouncing targets equal to the number of plunder patroll cards equipped to it specifically? From both fields, that way you could get real mileage out of a Redbeard discard from earlier in a turn. And you can bounc plunders attached to already spent ships for my ammo. I also believe they should get more maindeck cards. Specifically a "gunner" plunder monster who gives the ship it's equipped to some generic boost. And a card sort of like Plunder Patrollship Broadside. Which would be a trap card that gains additional effects based on the number of different supertype Plunders you control

    Love the idea, but with the current strenght and stability of meta decks, I would want to limit the dependance to 2 card combos and make the deck play with card advantage. A link 1 that searches the field spell wouldn't even break the deck. Then give it a quick effect "banish this card from the GY, change the attribute of your opponent's monster to that attribute until the end of the turn"
    I know i am just throwing a busted link1 all mighty card in there, but the plunder lock in archetype just makes it fair IMO.

    A ritual would be bad it should be an xyz pen lvl 8 and it should be like the fusion quick effect but a spell/trap negate

    I think it'd be cool if the Wind ship is an xyz pendulum with a high scale like 8 so it can be used with Jord for pendulum summoning in special circumstances. It would also be nice if they didn't stop at the wind ship and gave us a Link 3 water ship that blackbeard could go into. Hell, a divine attribute ship would be really cool and even usable with Jord and booty's attribute choosing effects

      The scale needs to be 9 if you want to pendulum summon the lvl 8 ship

      @@Gadjiz ah yeah you’re right, 9 would be better. I was thinking only about the level 4s you could pendulum summon, but I guess with 9 you’d be able to get Jord back out of the extra deck too

    what ive been wanting for the wind ship is card that messes with the opp gy/banish pile. like a quick effect double d.d. crow effect or return 2 cards from gy/banish to the deck. resolution would add a plunder card from gy or banish. not saying this would be so game breaking, but i just think its lazy card design to slap a negate on cards..

    I really liked your design. However I guess it'd be better if the bounce effect works on every monster not only special summoned ones. Since the floo matchup is one of the most frustrating ones, it could help with it.
