I was the one with the Shuri Sauron Angela deck in the game, yes I did have hit monkey in the deck just never drew it but idea is to use shuri skip 5 and throw out a bunch of low cost stuff including she hulk on 6 with hit monkey to just spread power everywhere. Was cool running to you in the ladder and hope to see you on the ladder again soon.
If you think about it Regis, every archetype has a killer 2 drop for support. Sera/Bounce-Monkey. Discard-Morbius. Movement-Dagger. Destroy-Buckey. I don’t think monkey is unhealthy for the game. Just keeping pace.
I think they should make the monkey more like collector, that he will start a 2/1 or 2/2 and only get +1 instead of +2, he will still be good, but not broken
i think Sandman lists usually run Pyslocke and/or Electro, so in a lot of games you're going to be facing 2 turns of only playing 1 card with Sandman coming out on turn 4. That's probably an ez escape though. I've already encountered a lot of players running the Sandman/Doom/Odin line.
@Roger Gibson that’s a cool idea, but if you get hit with Sandman on turn 4, hit monkey decks also rely on Angela and Bishop which benefit from a lot of bounce on at least 2 turns to scale up.
I think he's a fun card, not broken at all imo He requires a fair amount of resources and functions like a combo deck. Especially since this deck never has priority, cosmo on turn 6 outright ends the game lol Time will tell whether I'm wrong or not though
Agreed. I haven’t used him much yet but it feels a lot like a morbius, mystique, Dracula deck. Not terribly hard to counter. Scales a lot on the last two rounds
I play the exact same deck but instead of Korg and Rocket, I use Iron Fist and Human Torch. You'd be surprised how often I can get Torch up to 24 power. Bast makes him 3, play Fist and Torch to make him 6, Falcon or Beast to pick them up both up, play them again to make him 12, Falcon or Beast to pick them up a second time, play them down one last time as a 24 (Usually for free because of Beast) Even if I don't get him with Bast, he still often gets up to 16 off of his base power. I find it's more consistent and powerful than trying to guess where they will play with Rocket.

Hope they don’t nerf him it seems really good don’t get me wrong but, leech, wave, sandman, Shang, killmonger, shadow king are already strong counters I think the meta will adjust and he will end up being a card you play earlier like you said at like a 2/6 rather than dumping last turn
Nice deck I'm running a half bounce using only beast with Hit Monkey so far it's working very good. This card is so much fun that I expect a nerf after the season.
What about slotting a Forge into this deck? Play it second last before Hit Monkey on T6 to give +4 power from 1 card. I know it's the same as 2 1-costs, but could be handy where board space is limited or you can get a second on-reveal from Forge via bounce or Kamar-Taj.
try cutting rocket racoon for polaris / widow / or shang chi. definitely helps against certain match ups! ive found it to be a bit more consistent and agree with you now the darkhawk is not needed!
I tried playing a similar deck last night and the freaking locations just wouldn't let me play the game... lamentis, deck swaps, unreachable locations... out of like 8 games I never even played hit monkey...
T1 Bast. T2 Hitmonk. T3 hood beast return hit and hood. T4 0 cost hood and moon girl. T5 float mana. T6 play 2 she hulk 2 demons and 2 hitmonkeys. Is that just the line? Or is there any higher output?
*there are some changes to this season but i cant figure it out, for some reason the negative HOOD isnt being returned to hand by BEAST for some reason...is it a bug. quin jet is also weird but it might jus be me*

Even if Hit-Monkey for +1 per it would still be broken 😂 I think they're going to have to make it a 1 cost with +1. Making it cheaper will make up for the NERF a little while also placing it in killmonger's sights
That would just kill the card imo, sunspot would just take his spot, like he’d be maybe a 1/5 at best? Titania and Sunspot would outclass that with no problem
It just feels super bad for me that Quinjet got nerfed in my stupid "Shield" deck with a 20% win rate. So they can push out broken decks that I can in no way afford like Thanos and Hitmonkey.
It actually shouldn't. It's not unfair at all since you sacrifice 3 board slots for 4 power (sometimes more) just to play him. I feel like Mysterio is strong but pretty balanced, which is where you want to be with a card

I also played shuri and still recognize and said multiple times elsewhere that the card is busted. I played and loved Aero and said the card needed to be changed. Care to elaborate a bit further than "found the mysterio main" and explain why and where the card is broken?
Feel like I see nothing buy shuri and galatus. I don't ever see bots anymore either. And I still can't play the game. It still kicking me off only way I can play Is if I reinstall everytime.
Just like Kitty...Monkey is OP. I usually always run Killmonger and Shang tho to take out cards, so hopefully that'll work, providing they don't bounce the Monkey. haha I did face a Monkey once today and won, but don't think the opponent played it right.

they nerfed quinjet instead of a very simple fix to the problem which was thanos because of" problematic 0 costs" meanwhile beast falcon can casually do more ,arguably more broken when u can cast monkey twice atleast when bouncing him ,netting more than when u could fill the board space with free costs with old jet on the last turn

Kitty Pryde has been temporarily removed from the game by the developers
She was crashing the game so she's been removed for now. She'll have good synergy with this deck for sure though.

Beast is the only one that reduces cost, falcon just bounces 1 drops.
