This is the kind of guy that has a priceless amount of knowledge. It would be way cool to be his right hand man and just spend every day picking his brain. He has forgotten more than most of us will ever learn.
Guys like this is what makes midget racing what it is! Reminds me of Ralph Potter started the Potter v6 from stock pieces and turned it into a contender and championship car owner! Good story
😉 I'm a AMA Flattracker from the 1970's & 80's from the East Coast { 360cc Yamaha in a Champion Frame } It was good to hear Bundy mention Flat-track Bikes 🌽♨️🧉
Props to this guy for doing something different. We ran Ford 410s in PA for yrs before TSR came along with Ford $ was a constant struggle but rewarding knowing we built everything ourselves an not write a check like everyone else... 💥🏁👍
Back in 1998 we had a four coil midget that we ran with ardc. The car was a rocket ship. We took it to the four crown Nationals and had Johnny Heydenreich driving. The right front shock mount was way offset from what everyone else had. Bob East came down and laughed at it, Mike Streicher came down and looked it over didn't say much. We qualified through the heat no problem and then everybody was down wanting to take measurements. Hahahaha. We showed up with a single axle trailer and a van among everybody with USAC made some heads turn that day. Interesting interview
Glad I clicked on this video cause really it was so cool to watch and listen to him talk about everything. Seems like one hell of a guy to just be around and talk with.
This is cool as they come. I talked with him a couple of years ago at Bloomington midget week show. Took time answer my questions about the Honda and how they came about using it.
Absolutely the best. Just discovered this channel, outstanding interview, plus I am just down the street from Chattanooga in Rome. Excellent, like to see you top this!
That’s typically what they mean when you say reverse the head. But it’s also not that simple. The head isn’t symmetrical. It was designed to flow in a specific direction.
What an interesting guy, loves what he does, and willing to take on Toyota, Stanton, and Esslinger with his own Honda build! This man is a RACER!

Wouldn't it be easier to change the cams to reverse the intake and exhaust versus turning the entire head?
