I'd quite like to know how to dome an oval shape - either using an oval doming punch or a round one.
Andrew👍 a live stream jewelry build and answering super chats would be very cool 😎
Andrew, how about a video using different metals, like aluminium? It is easily recycled from cans, hypoallergenic and soft to work with. The only caveat is you can't solder it like silver so riveting and other tricks might come in handy.
Andrew, I love the idea of live webcasts. We had such great fun in the Periscope days. I was going to suggest a live broadcast of some sort.
I would like you show us how to draw on paper a ring model to glue on the silver before cutting.
Thank you Andrew.
Turquoise inlay ring - using square wire on either side creating a middle channel.
How about a variety of claw settings for different shape stones, thank you
A contemporary decorative piece commemorating the lockdown.
How about a gem tipped model of the Coronavirus in silver or gold?
Thanks for the video!
Hi dear ANDREW , will that be possible for you please to talk about “how to start a jewellery shop” and how to get into the market for beginners?? And talk about the relation between Jewellers and the Gem Cutters and Facettors and Gemologists in the Market? It will be very much appreciated. Cheers, from Sydney.
Mr. Berry I would very much like to see an in depth video on fishtail setting and calculations for eternity bands.
Also how to get a bezel like daggers to stay flat on the back plate. Everything I try it winds up lifting on one side then they melt! Even balling wire won’t hold it flat enough to solder . Thank you for all you do!
Hi Andrew
Thanks so much for all your helpful videos. Could you do one on bezel setting a two sided or reversible cabochon? Especially those with an acute angled edge...
Much appreciated and stay well
Irene de Bruyn
Love your videos! I’d like a tutorial on how to make backless bezel settings for faceted stones. Thank you!
Do an eternity ring. I really want to see you do this as everything else out is junk. Especially touching on gravers
I would love to see different type of chain styles and how they are made.
How to sand and polish in hard to reach places of jewelry? Tips and tricks. Thank you!
try a barrel polisher. Not cheap but saves loads of time if you want to run a business
Stuff to do with cheap metal, awful flux and awful solder. I have lots of steel wire, solder and also a few fluxes. I made a net needle that did OK with outrageous amounts of solder. I'm afraid it's too toxic to gift but I like it anyway. I don't have a budget for fine materials but I do want to learn filigree before I die.
Hi Andrew, thank you for all the wondrrful videos. Can you make a video of "bezel setting with cabochon corners stones"? I had a difficulty find a good online training video. Thank you
I see you’ve had lots of input already, but I’d love to see some more enamelling with a kiln if you could or some PMC creations.
Hi Andrew, I would love to learn different ways of replicating pieces using lost wax casting, for example for building collections to save time. Thank you!
Hi Andrew, tnx for time and effort to make all your films, keep your self safe and.. two watches?
Can't wait to finish lockdown😂
All the best!
Could you make a video on a silver ring with an irregularly shaped opal in a bezel setting? I have quite a few opals that are not "standard " I'd like to try making them at the bench, but am a new learning maker. Thanks Andrew.
I think you should show videos on how to make commonly used settings and findings.
Hi Berry,
I am a fin your video. I will be interested in the GALVANIC EQUIPMENTS what you should pay attention to equipment or process.
thanks for your support
Opel from German
I would like to see a video on "How to channel set stones". Thank you.
I would absolutely kill for a video/series on how to do investment casting
How to make different kinds of ring shanks. Like the one you showed in the video on how to make a claw setting with no soldering. =D
Thank you Andrew!
Can you do a video on pave setting and the tools one would need to get to get started. And also what materials can be used to practice like, is it ok to use brass copper or nickel for practice? Thank you I appreciate it!
Hi Andrew, first of all, thank you for your videos. How to make a hammered copper or silver ring?
What about non-polish finishings for projects?
Why don’t you do concept to object! So we can see you develop an art piece including coming up with an original idea. It helps to see that process in action.
Exactly what I was going to ask!
Dancing With Nature I come from a curatorial background and see artist do it all the time. So valuable. Every artist does it slightly differently. Andrew could also connect it to good products as well eg art supplies , computer programmes. Untapped area as far as I can see Andrew.
