Listen to the CORSA Performance sound comparison video to give you a full understanding of the difference between the CORSA Performance active valve exhaust system versus the stock system.
In the video the CORSA Performance active valve systems features CORSA's full cat-back exhaust option with non-resonated Double Helixx X-Pipe. The cat-back system delivers almost 16 decibels more than the stock system under heavy acceleration and a notably different acoustic profile. At cruise the CORSA system delivers a near identical experience behind the wheel if not marginally quieter than that stock system.
Not shown in this video is the CORSA Performance Axle-back active valve system which delivers an experience right in the middle between these two systems, louder than stock but not as aggressive as the CORSA cat-back offering.
The stock system in the video is well 100% stock as is from the factory.

I prefer Stock/closed (best sounding OEM American exhaust system ever made) & Corsa/open.
Stock sound better
Close to sounding as good as an s197 5.0 but still a bit too raspy. An improvement from the s550 trumpet noise though.
Some say this engine sound worse after mods some say it sounds better. Mustang is always raspy and they all sound damn near close. I'm just tired if borla and ford moving the release date for my order. So corsa it is lol

@ElectricVehiclesSuck right! To me the camaro kinda stole some of the mustang sound from back in the day. And ford switched their engine set up.
@@lastoutlaw_2129 This is exactly what I’ve been saying! The modern Camaro sounds like what Mustangs used to sound like. Chevy copied Ford and then Ford moved on to a raspier dohc engine.

Weird sounding engine. Corsa makes the best raspy exhaust. This 5.0 doesn’t do Corsa justice.
Every kit I’ve heard sounds worse on the S650 than the S550. I have the Corsa active on my car and it doesn’t sound the same. I think Ford messed with the manifolds or something.
I will say it sounds different in person than by video. I recently went to a mustang meet and 3 cars had the extreme. So I was expecting the same sound I heard from the videos. The sound was complete different in person and not as raspy as in some videos. The rasp and sound have all been different for each video with the same set up. This engine does have its own weird sound tho lol. You are 100% right
@@169abrCorsa sounds like absolute ass on the s550. We’re always bullying the Corsa mustangs in mustang groups. I’m glad Ford made the mustang deeper sounding again. Mustangs started being raspy with the s550 in 2015. The 5.0 in the s197 sounds way better.
@@EVsSuck777 I agree that the S197 sounds better, but the main issue is people with Catless headers to the extremes it sounds extremely VQ like and awful. The car with just the catback has a nice deep rumble to it but the second I go headers it’s staying in the more tame modes. I will also say the Active catback sounds different than the regular Corsa extreme, having heard both side by side a few times there’s a deeper tone to the active kit.
The stock active exhaust on the S550 has a nice tone to it as well just needed more volume for me personally. I don’t think it’s the way Ford made it sound, I think there’s something in the cats choking the car for emissions cause an S550 catback fits an S650 and it sounds different then too.
