I have bought lots of Rolife Kits and never put one together as designed. I dont buy book nooks because everything is 2D and its not worth my money as the scales are weird and theres nothing I can use in other dioramas. I tend to buy the fruit/bake/book shop type of kit and canibalise the parts for other dioramas, theyre often 1:25th scale which, with a little help can be utilised in my dioramas which are usually 1:18th. They are like a mixed bag of parts that can be used in various dioramas, the doors are a good size as are the rooms. I use up most of the pieces in them so they work out as being a good investment. I look at them and if any of the parts, or finished structures look like they could be used differently, i will buy them.

I just checked out the Rolife website, they have 9 out now. That's a lot for a year. I'm getting ready to build Venice. One thing I wish booknooks had was hinges on the bottom, so it could be pulled out from between the books and opened like a book to display the details inside sometimes. Some of the other brands put a big window in one side.

I've just done a issue 133 and you get stickers for the well decks on the hull in White Star Line buff and also the sheer line is a water decal unfortunately bit tricky but it's doable.

Hey! Off topic but I’ve stumbled across some old videos you did for the hatchette routemaster but not as detailed as each issue from the dolls house which I heavily relied on your videos to help me through 😏 so I just wondered if you had any advice before I source the issues for the bus? Did you find any faults with the instructions? Would you recommend it even? Ideally I’d want to just buy a built bus but the few that’s for sale have bits missing or the electrics aren’t working so I’m thinking to give it a crack of building one 😬
