I put a cutting board in my pillow case so I can angle it against the door without the pillow folding, then I can sleep in a recliner position
Who the heck sleeps in that position? They come in all flavors.

I also prefer this method. I have a hard top and use my bed for storage

I have a plywood platform on top of the back seat of my F150. Covered with an egg crate pad and a kids size memory foam pad that fits in the space perfectly. Love being able to just hop in the back and sleep, lots of storage underneath the platform. I have a hard top tonneau cover and most of my gear goes in the back. I do put one seat forward where my feet go and that allows me to sleep flat and almost completely stretch out by putting my feet in that space. All other options I have looked at are very expensive. I also like the peace of mind that I could just hop into the front seat and leave if something made me feel particularly unsafe.
Imo if you can do this. Its the best method. Just way better.

Luno make s screens that fit over door, so that you n roll the windows down. keeps the bugs out and you can still close and lock the doors.

Im.way too old now and a little larger,used to sleep in the the back of my truck topper and climb through the topper window and cab window and drive away,never needed to walk around to cab
I use a dog hammock and a Coleman inflatable kid’s mattress that fits perfectly filling all the way to the back of the front seats. A small cooler on the floor of one side and a tool bag on the other side keep everything from sinking into the gap. The mattress top is even with the top of the center console so it’s easy to slide back from the front seat.
Amazing in depth look my man. Very Organized and cleaner then most Truck campers I know. Also got to love all the stickers around the truck, Makes it unique and interesting to look at. Great Vid!

Hey man you be you. This is why I watch you is because you camp the way you camp. I get it. They have some magnetic screens that you can use for your windows for the summer. I have a gmc2500hd 4x4 etended cab with small back seat area...ive slept there on fishing trips and also a leer top w/bed setup. Have you looked at truck bed tents as a option? Where did you get the interior overhead rack from thx.

One thing you haven't mentioned is what do you do if you gotta go poopy and don't want to leave the truck ? Say there's a bear hanging around outside ? Please answer .
Crack the window & shoot the bear then continue on with #2 out of the truck😂 Just kidding!😉 Honestly 99% of the time black bears are more scared of humans than we are of them… I’ve never had any issues luckily and I feel like when I unlock my truck my LED lights are so bright it would probably scare them off.
