I've done that .... opposite experiences. I tturned 38000 ADA in 60000 ADA by selling and rebuying .... and I also turned 47 ETH into 20 ETH .... sometimes you sell and it keeps going. Not really true. If you cash out to a stable coin or exchange to a precious metal, you are triggering a taxable event on your capital. Therefore, you would need the market to drop further than 20% of your liquidation just to start seeing a hedge.
