From the very deeps of my heart I respectfully disagree with everything just said. Now do the women's! (Except maybe I agree with Van Rysel. It not much, but it's honest work)
Im an owner of Bianchi Oltre (Pro model) since 2023 and in my opinion its a decent bike. We may argue about the looks but again I have to say its really original.
I love the stealth fighter looks of the Specialissima and actually own one. Amazing bike to ride. These guys would would rate a lump of lead over a chunk of platinum. They even said the Specialissima is a fantastic bike to ride at the end of the video. Their only real criticism is having a team paint job. For that it doesn't deserve the bin designation.
I'm of the opinion all modern World Tour road bikes fall into two categories: Either bland because they look like everything else, or they are just flat out ugly. At this point we're just arguing over who has the best paintjob and matching kit.
Saying that Cannondale didn't do anything revolutionary with the new S6 while they managed to reduce it's frame drag almost to the level of System6 (tested by no other than the legendary Tour Magazine). Nah, new S6 is easy S tier for me, the looks, the paint jobs they have available, the performance - brilliant bike!
@@stevent5050no, the rider did. The Look aero bike is slower in the wind tunnel than an SL8 all rounder and heavier. Don’t get me wrong I like the looks and the manufacturing is quality but it is not among the best performance bikes in the world tour.
In the real world numbers don't aren't the be all and end all. Feel and handling and comfort all play a factor into freshness at the end of a race. Could well off set a couple grams
@@joshuacollins5546 yeah but there is no comparable data on it, so it’s anybody’s guess. David is right: all we know is that the Look is heavier and slower than its competitors. And we have one rider in Guillaume Martin publicly complaining about that fact which is something you rarely see.
@@pipoannFair play just actually like the look of the look haha. I have just bought the Ridley noah disc and it rides and feels amazing. The new one just literally come out hence why i probably got the massive discount. But for me looks really do matter the new one is apparently 8w faster but I'd rather have mine due to the looks.
The thing about XDS having almost no English language coverage is that they do a lot of Carbon work for western brands. Their sponsoring a world tour team is largely PR for their Chinese domestic market production because they don't want to go stepping on the toes of their primary business making bikes for some unspecified 4 letter named American brands. Also on the Look with the new Campag wireless groupset, great bike, no complaints on the tanwalls with a white base for the paint scheme.... Would look way better were Campag still making polished alloy components like the now retired 11 speed rim break Centaur.
This was way too harsh for Bianchi. I find top tube design clever looking on specialisima. Bianchi if you are reading this we support you! Keep up the good work
As a person with a background in Arts I can tell you that Look bikes are the only that actually stand out from the crowd and actually have an aesthetic statement. That doesn't necessarily mean it's the most beautiful but I am pretty sure it deserves to be up there, among the best.
Was hoping for some wind tunnel testing results, weights and watts lost in system type jargon but it's just what's prettier. I'm all for that but maybe put "aesthetics" in the title
Bora SL 8 in S tier is insane. It is a non-descript white bike with a fizzy drink logo on. The only thing to like or dislike is the logo. So B max, C min. I put it in C - it is surely a great bike but that speed sniffer looks bad to me.
You under rated the SuperSix; it should be at least one tier higher. About XDS Carbon Tech company; they make frames for over half the peloton. It's no wonder it resembles the Merida. About the Propel; I love Giant, but I really can't stand seatpost masts. So Giant and Factor are out...
Finally Giant got some loves, I been a long time Giant fan, superb nice bike, superb value, superb warranty (in my country at least), but the paint job is just super boring, we always joking about Giant should have borrow some of the Liv's designer to design some SL bike, they got massively improve last year, this year with maap is even better.
This ranking just doesn’t make sense. Rankings are always controversial but usually have clear criteria. This one doesn’t. Public recognition, World Tour results, value for money, historical legacy. Nothing seems to match up.
The Cannondale SuperSix Evo is comparable to the Specialized SL8. The bike is light, aero and very comfortable. No way it’s in the B category. Try A or S.
I turned it off after you guys made the stock looking with a Red Bull sticker SL8 an “s” tier, especially when you crapped on some much nicer looking and excellent riding bikes. All these pro level bike are marginal gains over each other.
Maap sells the Jayco kit and it cost the same as their other kits. I can't but it because I don't ride a Giant bike. Maap needs to sponsor the Red Bull Specialized team so I can buy the matching kit.
Ask the riders if they think the Look bike is a God tier or even A tier bike and they will laugh at you. It is widely regarded as one of, if not the, slowest bikes in the peloton. Overpriced/overweight groupset. Low performing frame. Below average wheels. Swing and a miss on that one, boys. And for the love of all that is holy, you put the Lapierre anywhere other than in the bin? Really?
XDS bought Astana solely to market to their domestic market that theyre a "world tour brand" The global market is so insignificant to them, they dont care. China's market is far bigger than any given country in the world so they care for marketing overseas or selling for that matter.
Giant has the ugliest seatpost clamp of any 'pro' bike in the last decade. No way that eye-sore detail gets better than 'C'. That's just lazy amateur hour junk.
You criticize many of the bikes as repeat and boring, but downgrade the Colnago for being different. Colnago is top tier for me. It’s just a shame it isn’t with Campy.
From the very deeps of my heart I respectfully disagree with everything just said. Now do the women's!

For me all tier C should be A, and most A tier are super boring😂I would rather give them B/C.
Really, Red Bull are S tier? That bike is so boring looking. The only bit of flash is the decal.
And that RedBull decal may look cool this year while it's topical, but in a few years time everyone is going to know that's an old bike.
It's Sworks, for some reason people keep praising it
Am I the only one who likes the Bianchi?
And hope fast it rides is more important than looks
Im an owner of Bianchi Oltre (Pro model) since 2023 and in my opinion its a decent bike. We may argue about the looks but again I have to say its really original.
Great looking bike!
I like the looks of the Specialissima. The Oltre is an even worse looking S5 rip off for me.
I think the Bianchis look great.

Agree, Cannondale s6 S+ bike
What rubbish did i just waste my time on.....

That heavy and slow bike just won Stage 4 of the TDU. 😁

How can X-LAB be above Bianchi...?
A fellow Brit actually pronouncing Bontrager correctly. Chapeau Chaps!

Best bike, Factor Ostro VAM is missing
Solid S-tier for the Look!
Recently bought a Scott Foil and genuinely love the fact no world tour team is riding it.

The look blade should be an S plus + plus + :)
Gotta fight you on the Wilier. Fabulous looking, even for a pro bike, I’d be over the moon to ride one myself.
womens list too please!
Look is B tier at most
just ask guillaume martin what he thinks
Look are absolute masters of carbon manufacturing. They’re head and shoulders above everyone else in terms of quality.

I have the Van Rysel. Definitely an A .Beautiful bike that rides superbly. Love it.
Propel amazing 😻🙏👌💪 , would love to buy Pro version with ultegra and this color
Look Campagnolo, heaven stuff
I'll take a bin tier bike any day! 😆
Look is S-tier obviously!
Wilier Filante SLR definitely an A ! - no argument about nothing else but paint job. Its ad all around machine and that white is an elegance issue
I'm late to the party, but I just want to add that I like the Jayco team kit, but I hope they sell it without the logos and writing.
Based on this video, I question whether you guys have any idea about cycling
Love the Propel. But it is more a TCR in my view :) but my pocket says. you have to still go propel 2017 with 105. still love it
U guys are making good content these days
Look bike = S+
Lidl should switch to Look to be Lidl Look. Not only is that a cooler name, but the colours line up better.
Intermarche , me wanty.
Look is B tier
Bianchi ranked Bin... I think you have to stop talk about bike, obviously it is not your job. Maybe they do not pay you enough like specialized...
You are missing scott foil from Q 36.5 team.
They’re a Conti Team, so is Lotto - as it has been mentioned here,
As noted by other commenters, Q36.5 isn't a WorldTour team, so that's why we didn't include it here. Cheers for watching!
FDJ Women are riding Tarmac SL8 in '25........vs Men on Wilier
Giant looked great last year & spectacular in '25.👍
Look is S at least
Look off the charts S+++ tier.

Are there any bikes in the women's WT peloton that aren't in the men's peloton? If not, then a second vid would be redundant.
Look is S Tier. White bikes are Godly black bikes are boring. Also it's not an american bike..

The Giant would be nicer with RED
