- A federal judge has dismissed the criminal case against Donald Trump accusing him of mishandling classified information, finding that the appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutional. This ruling ends one of four criminal cases against Trump, who survived an assassination attempt on Saturday in Pennsylvania. Bloomberg's Joe Mathieu reports from the site of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

The court said that the prosecutor, Jack Smith, was not legally appointed. Because Jack convened the Grand Jury to secure the indictment, the indictment is null and void. If the government wants to restart the trial it will need a new prosecutor, a new Grand Jury, and a new indictment. Good luck with that.
Which would then open up the whole classified documents case against Biden.
It doesnt mean the government can't go after Trump with its prosecutors. We don't need special councils to arrest Steve Bannon or take him to court in September for defrauding the people of Arizona.
