"Honey, this breakfast don't ask me things" FACTS
@@MrV41N it may be a statement, but it's still facts, pick up a book you might learn a thing or two.
Reds said I love you to Eric like 3, technically 4 times. 2 he was drugged 1 he was being sarcastic and the last time is before Eric left for Africa
"Mom was dad abducted by aliens and replaced by an identical creature programmed to love?" Where do they come up with these lines? 🤣
Honestly, I thought that was kind of a possibility just a bit. 🤣
Star Wars and weed man
Kitty getting overly excited is so funny!
"Daddy be my valentine!" 🤣😭🙈
It's not that he doesn't love Eric, he's just been irreparably damaged by war.
Well damm Jackie he was just trying to love his father
He also had an awful relationship with his own father who treated him the same way
That's the thing with men today, we have to break the cycle of silence, my father has done a better job then my grandfather (although my grandfather would show signs of love but never say it) thankfully it is dying off.
3:35 Red acts like Eric said something profound (but I guess "I love you" IS profound for him). 🤣
You might want to look up the definition of "profound". Red reacted like what Eric said was horrific and repulsive, not profound... thats the joke.
You forget how funny this show was!
Thanks for the memories
"Do I have to hit you? Go to your room." 😂
3:56 lmao the audience going hEEhEEhEE, its canned laughter thats used on practically every show but it still gets me 🤣
"Go to your room."
How Eric’s smile turned to terror… priceless 😂
If I had a father like Red, I'd be scared too 😂
This was really funny when I was a teenager. Now that I’m a father with a teenage son, it just makes me sad
I know Reds fake, but the trauma he experienced is real, and everyone experiences it differently. Luckily, he didn't turn out worse.
"Other than that it's just a given."
Red is teaching his son the rules of manhood.
@@Quakeinc14 not really, he’s teaching poor communication. His kid was literally afraid to tell him he loved him, that’s not a good relationship. He’s a good man and does his best but he has his own issues as a father due to his own experiences and life. It’s especially bizarre in romantic relationships to just assume someone loves you without confirmation and can cause so many issues.
@@bluegirl278 You wouldn’t understand.
@@Quakeinc14 I might not understand the “rules of manhood” but I do understand healthy relationships and open communication is crucial. I had a rough home life but even I couldn’t imagine feeling uncomfortable telling my dad I loved him or never hearing him tell me. Even Red lamented in the show not telling his mother he loved her when she went home because she died unexpectedly. You never know when your loved ones will be gone so that’s an added reason to be open and share your affection when you can. Most of the men in this comment section understand this and find him being so distant with his child sad.
so the only time Red says i love you to Eric is when he's drugged 🤣
And right before Eric left to Africa. He even gave him his knife from Korean War as a gift. He was sober.
Red's got some emotional problems, unhealthy ones.
@squirrelsinjacket1804 War is a root cause my Great Grandfather went to the Western Front in WWI and came back a wreck, would make the family do military exercises, up at 5:00am etc
It's alright Red.
The only time my brother is nice to me is when he's wasted, too!
Deep .... Deep... Deep Down 😄
1:51
After a loved one resuscitates me through CPR and I respond:
Love this scene,😎🤣🤣
Red "I love u" me "run"
that Jello looks good
this is a tv show guys don't take it to heart! it's okay to tell your dad/son you love them
Man this is so so sad 😂. Which makes me Soo thankful I had a dad who wasn't afraid or "too manly" to be affectionate and would always say I love you. Not just to me but also to my brothers. And his brothers and other ppl and all. So I know it's not just a daddy's little girl thing with him.
Some people just really need to hear it being said.
My dad all over ,🤣🤣
This is what sucks about this time period like could imagine never hearing that from your dad or fearing getting in trouble for saying I love you to your parent
3:39 Red's face
Deep Deeep Deeeeeep Down
It's a different dichotomy between a father and son, especially pre late 1990s to present. My father doesn't cry in front of anyone other than my mother he can and does sat he loves you. His father, on the other hand, a loveable man, cared deeply for his children but would never say it so its kinda dying off
My father has never told me nor my siblings that he loves us and he has never seen war.
It's different for every father son dichotomy
My dad has never told me he loved me, first time my dad ever patted me on the back was when my son was born. And said.. "hope you're ready" and walked away. I know he does love and care about me. He just doesn't say it, but I'm a father of two who know they are loved very much.. So he did a damn good job I think. I love you, you old fart.
😆 🤣
Jager
😂😂😂
Jello deserves to be on the ground
how does Father and Husband rhyme
These poorly punctuated comments.
I’ve had to restart them
multiple times to figure out wtf was supposedly being said.
Ridiculous.
Kitty dropping that wonderful delicious looking jello cake is the most saddest thing I have ever witness when i watched this for the first time.
It still makes me sad though... 😭😭
Like... how many jello cakes did she drop for this scene... ohh, the pain... it hurts!!!
Dad sow 70. CONNOR HOPPY BIRTHDAY KATY PARTY PERRY LAST VEGAS SPA Sam champion.
Is it gay for something for a father and son to say they love each other
Nah they're family
It’s not, it’s just assumed they love each other. They don’t have to say it
@@jahrn692 make senses
Red likes to project an aura of masculinity. He’s a war vet, so he’s very old school. So yeah, he’s not really comfortable with saying it out loud. But he makes sure people know in other ways.
Yeah, they basically homo
