They use that combo in the halls too so they work well together :) I’ve seen some nice green tinted walls there but have not found any blocks for that.
I think the luminescent blocks should give off an equal amount of light. like the blue and green one really don't offer much unless you fill the whole room. But that white one, you can make modern building designs with that.
I agree, that the green one did not give off light felt a little wrong. At least have it at the level with the blue one. And then we need a red one so we can get some RGB lighting :D
when i first found the green one my immediate thought was "Will the red mycelium be red? It didn't work, but the green slime and the mycelium seemed similar enough for it to make sense @@just5moremins
Thank you very much for this showcase vid for the newly added building blocks / materials. Wonder what happens, when mixing (a few of each only) of the blue lumi and the new white light blocks. Does it produce a rather skylight blue color?
I only tried it a little in a small room, but there the combination would give me a colder white light if I used a few of each of them. if I used a lot of them both it would get greenish tint to it. So the white light has some yellow to it that combined with blue makes it green :)
@@just5moremins Thanks for trying that out, that's quite interesting. Will give it a try for sure / green light for underground natural caves sounds real good.
@@slate613 awww, I kninda liked that it changed when using them both, blue + yellow = green.. But I see now that if I use only lots of blue it also changes to green. Thanks for letting us know!
Great vid. Is the Ectoplasm shard something you find, or learn to make? Have not seen that yet myself, and I love that stained glass look. Thinking if you sandwich the white lum one between the ecto-stained glass, it might give some interesting lighting choices......
If I remember right its found in a chest in the Nomad Highlands, in a room right after you drop down a hole with some bats. High up on a platform with a big green brazier on it. Its a really nice block indeed :)

Yeah, that would be awesome, even just a little. This block gives a lot to a room the way it looks so if it could illuminate as well, or even let light through it.
I just wish they would fix the trash combat. No animation cancelling, enemies just radomly appear, enemies stuck in terrain. There is so much core gameplay that is broken, instead they focus on cosmetics. Says a lot.
The combat is a little lacking yeah, and getting «stunned locked» by a mob is no fun. Hopefully that will get some love in upcoming patches. Probably better if one plays as a group with different builds but have not tried that yet.
@@Tazaiplusfailno he’s right, there are tons of issues with combat and balancing. Currently the game promotes you getting out of reach of the enemies if you’re going Magic (given how long the cast is, how often you can get interrupted, and how your character has to stop and make a step forward to cast a spells.) . Also, the blocking feels like shit. It feels better to just hold block and attack at the same time rather than try to parry. Mind you I enjoy it- but they have to fix those issues for sure
If they keep the same pace with rolling out updates in EA as they have with this latest one, then I'm sure combat fixes will be forthcoming. Cosmetics is also a huge part if not the largest part of a voxel game.
So many awesome building materials.
True, they are really doing a great job with all these blocks to build with. Looking forward to the future of this game
i love the last combination, red walls and floor and those white luminescent blocks. maybe adding the green ones just for accents

The blue blocks are currently bugged and glow green instead of blue. Keen knows about it and are working on a fix.

@@just5moremins That explains it, I have not gotten to that one yet. Thanks! :D
How do you make purified slime?
You do it in the station you will get after getting the new companion
@@just5moremins oh ok. I’ve only completed the first hall so far. Thanks for letting me know.
Great job, but where do you get that red one? I have the materials but cannot make it.
You can find it in chest in Revelwood Hollow Halls.
yep, what michalzahorak23 says :)
Thank you
So can we not take over the hollow like other structures?
I have not tried this yet, but would guess that you cant. Like the elixir well
Wow nice! where do you get/find the Ectoplasm blocks?

I checked again now and seems something has changed, maybe in one of the patches, but it gives out a lot more light now :)
