Image looks great.. i can live with the vignetting if your trying to capture video close to film. Its part of that anamorphic feel

Does the vignetting go away when stopped down? It's not bad at all to center crop on that FX3, in fact, it may be preferred. Too bad the manual focus lenses don't have in-body lens correction, that would be sweet. I don't see that being a problem is you can 17:1 4K DCI on your FX3 and just crop in. Losing some resolution is just part of the anamorphic character; that Saturn lens is very sharp and you need to soften it up just a little by using the FX3 with clear image zoom.
After I received the replacement lens, the anamorphic look and desqueeze was working a lot better. I'm sure the vignetting would've been corrected but at regular view it was behaving really odd. Hence why I returned it to the factory.

that sure does look like a lot of high tech equipment. sorry you weren't satisfied with results. Love botanical gardens. I am basic. just use my phone. lol. and before that, I used an automatic camera. no idea how to use those fancy cameras manually. new friend here.

I saw some warping in your footage. Did you have Image stabilization turned on?
Hey, I normally turn off stabilizer but something was off about this lens. Received a different one and all was fine.
