    "Lancashire Blues" was written and composed by Gracie Fields, who also recorded it for HMV. Betty Bolton's cover version was released on Decca and benefits from a hot orchestral accompaniment.
    As I am not the possessor of this record I have not been able to include a label scan, but I do have a copy of the original music sheet published by Lawrence Wright that of courses features Gracie Fields on its cover, so I have included this to illustrate the song.

    I bought a wind up gramma phone ten years ago. I often listen to music on it.
