Morning 😊 i used to own a 76 silver shadow in the same colour. Mine had a brown roof. 😊 great cars just used mine to go to the golf ⛳ club and back, around 4 times a week. They are expensive now over here 😊 in the UK 🇬🇧. 😊😊
@@polarbear7720parts are readily available. I actually made a mistake in the video. Those filters for the reservoir were nearly AUD350 for the pair. I paid a couple hundred plus freight in USD. I'm expecting parts costs of $400 ish for a small collection of o rings and a reconditioned accumulator.
I wish it was the original Peacock Blue colour 😉. Anyway I bought the cover from "Car Covers Australia". It cost $280 and it fits beautifully. I hope this helps.
I am sorry to say that my original, never replaced mesh filters for the reservoir look exactly like yours. They never look different and do their job as long as the don't have holes. I replaced one of the filters because it was broken/torn and it came like your filter. By the way, did you buy them as a new or used part? Wonderful work and very thorough you do on this car, my compliments.
Thanks for the compliment and advice. Yeah, I bought them new and my thought process was that it wouldn't take much for suction to pancake them again, given the "memory" of the mesh. I'll be taking off that accumulator soon. Wish me luck!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to being able to use it again after I get that accumulator/valve body fixed.
looks mint
Hey thanks! It's mint apart from its hydraulics. I will prevail.
Thats a bummer, hope you get to the bottom of that fluid leak, lovely car.
It's the bloody accumulator. I was kidding myself mate.
@@jl991825 No doubt will be expensive and I suspect may be a job to track one down or are parts readily available.

Lovely colour series 2. I admire your courage in tackling the hydraulics. Can I ask where your car cover comes from? Thanks 😊

@@jl991825 indeed it does. I have two LWB versions, I hope the extra 4 inches won’t matter too much. Cheers

@@jl991825 All the best for your endeavours! The LH accumulator is not too bad to change, you will certainly succeed.
