3:15 there's something about this ending part that is just so hauntingly beautiful. I think it has to do with the vocals fading into the back. I love it so much. They did something similar with Just Pretend.

@Mr Noname its 100% a change for profit. All the biggest bands of the genre changed over and so are they. You don't naturally progress within 1 album. That's not how it works. And deciding if they did it well versus not, that's subjective and an opinion.
@@JohnDoe-mv2be yes. It's their 2nd album. It took just the span of 1 album to change. I'm 1000% in to the lighter stuff bands are putting out. I like this even. I just made an n observation that every other band who has done this gets shit on. BMTH did this progression over numerous albums and got shit on. Bad Omens did it over 1 album and everyone is cool with it.
After 4 years. Bad Omens is 1st in my Top 5 artists according to Spotify(even for myself they are my first) . Glass Houses was their first song, first song i ever heard of them at the first day of it's realise and it's still my favorite song 'till this day. I've seen them 365 days ago for the first time. And I've got my first, actual tattoo because of them. And now this before Christmas as gift. This band is everything for me.

Dude, much respect. People shit on the band after the whole advertisement bullshit. But on god, they are revolutionizing the metalcore genre. My buddy got me into them a few months after their first album release and I fell in love. One of my best friends has been going through a lot of emotional shit recently, and a few of the songs off the first album have been helping me so much with dealing with the stress of being their for said person. Knowing that other people go through similar shit helps. Their lyrics are amazing

Same been listening off and on to bad omens over a year now. Check out the metalcore bands Glass Houses bless the fall while she sleeps asking alexandria the word alive and avenged sevenfold obviously but these r my favorites they all have something special to there music that hits hard..
I'm definitely going to get a Bad omens tattoo, too ❤️ I only discovered them this year but since, I never spend a day without listening to them. They made me survive my depression and I'll never let down this band

The entire album is masterpiece
I was listening to my Spotify playlist earlier, and this song was playing when I received the news that my eldest aunt Cindy had past away. She's been having issues with her heart the past few years, had (half-assed) surgery earlier this year, and went into cardiac arrest earlier this evening. This song will now forever mean so much more to me, specifically the lines: "When I go out into the world

This damn world has taken too many innocent people too soon. If we here in the US had universal healthcare, she could have gotten the quality care that she needed. Instead, she was given shoddy care, and it cost her her life. That's not to mention just how much religion has negatively impacted our modern world. We would be so much more advanced as a society without religion holding back science around every damn turn. Anyway, rant over. Thanks, Bad Omens, for writing such amazing music. May my aunt Cindy be forever immortalized in our memories.

She did more than enough for my brothers and I when she was alive, and I will always love her for that, but now she's gone, and I don't need some selfish promise of the afterlife telling me that she's still alive somewhere in some form watching over me. I’m just here to say that this song in particular was one I had on loop through the hardest and darkest point of my life last winter… a few months have passed since I’ve been able to get out of (most of) the cause of it, and this is still one of my favorites. It hurts to remember how far down the rabbit hole of depression I was when I was addicted to this song most, but it’s comforting to know I got through so much with this relatable masterpiece to comfort me. 🖤
