    Prep. Time: 1 hour.
    Serves for 3 people.
    Ingredients:
    whole Onions 2 nos.
    Cashew nut 1 cup
    cooking oil 2 tbsp
    butter 2 tbsp
    cumin seeds 1 tbsp
    green cardamom 4 nos.
    cinnamon 1 inch
    bay leaves 2 nos.
    chopped garlic 1 tbsp
    chopped green chilies 1 tbsp
    chopped onions 1 cup
    ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
    turmeric powder 1 tsp
    red chili powder 1 tbsp
    coriander powder 1 tbsp
    cumin powder 1 tsp
    chopped tomatoes 2 nos.
    salt to taste
    water 1 cup
    milk half cup
    boiled cashew nuts 1 cup
    kasoori methi 1 tsp
    garam masala 1 tsp
    butter 1 tbsp
    fresh cream 2 tbsp
    chopped coriander half cup
    Garnish:
    fried cashew nuts
    chopped coriander
    Method:
    - Boil 1 cup of cashew nuts, once the cashews are soft strain them and run them under cold water if you have fresh, raw cashew nuts, it's best for the recipe.
    - Boil water in a vessel and add onions and cashew nuts. Cook onions and cashew nuts for 5 minutes. Once it's cooked, remove and strain it, let it cool, and set aside.
    - Once the boiled onions and cashews cool down, blend the cooked onions and cashew nut into a smooth paste.
    - Take a pan, and add cooking oil and butter. When oil is hot add cumin seeds, green cardamon, cinnamon, and bay leaves. Saute whole spices for 2 minutes on low flame.
    - Then add chopped garlic and green chilies and saute for 3 minutes on medium flame.
    - Add chopped onions and fry for 8 minutes on medium flame. Now add ginger & garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes on medium flame.
    - Once the onions are lightly brown, add the powdered spices, and saute for 3 minutes on low flame.
    - Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 6 minutes on medium flame. Add salt to your taste, which will help tomatoes cook fast. Now add water and mix well.
    - Once the masala is nicely cooked, add the cooked onion and cashew nut paste. Add milk and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Mix well all the ingredients.
    - Now add boiled cashews to the masala, mix well, and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
    - Now add kasoori methi, garam masala, butter, and fresh cream, mix well all the ingredients, and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
    - Cover the masala with a lid for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes open the lid and mix well. Now add coriander and give a good mix.
    - Kaju Butter Masala is Ready.
    - Garnish with fried cashew nuts and coriander leaves.
