Without hearing protection I might add, pretty sure DBL still requires that at all times, especially above 150 DB.. 😀👍🇺🇸🇨🇦 It's refreshing to see a vehicle reach 160 at infrasonic, watching the windows in the business flex to the still large sound-wave was really cool.. Same with almost the lack of sound, but you could almost feel it, and triggered my home sub a little helping to create the illusion. I can see why everything is so heavily reinforced, I couldn't imagine what it must feel to sit in that vehicle, and I got to demo The Beast when I met Alma Gates a long time ago when I believe she had the world SPL record, it could be wrong. Anyway, awesome video, basically commenting because you didn't get a whole lot of likes for some reason, less than 1000 which blows my mind for having the 'world record', especially in such a niche category, and surprised you don't have millions of views.. Building that much pressure while door is open at 20 hz is pretty insane . The building windows flexing like passive radiators some 20 feet away on the closed side really puts it into perspective .
Just took a $100k and god knows how many long nights to create this monster. 160db at 20hz is nuts that’s some punch you in the face bass right there that’s probably about what it feels like. Got a buddy I think is doing close to 160’s but no where near 20hz 40 maybe but it’s still painfully loud he got 6 15’s on 12 2k’s one 2k per coil! Plus he has 4 10’a and 4 8’s and 6 tweeters 4”! It’s all you can stand!

I am not a fan of those fart box builds doing burp tones over 60hz. I am a huge fan of 20hz competition! If you can generate 20hz you typically can generate the rest of the spectrum. This is awesome.

We can fake light with the human eye because we can't see all wavelengths of light and they trick us with the blue light of the led to. Think we are using less electricity but it's less energy of life too. It's not power it's just light. They trick us every day. People buy sound bars still.
I did a build that does 156.4@20hz for 2 minute average. With 2 dd m5’s and 2 18’s. Only 2 amps and 2 subs. 31 cubic foot 6th. Only 4db less with 1/8 the equipment. And 2 minutes…..not 1
@@backman00 I’m aware of all the science behind it. I’ve done many builds over the years. Done many for other people. I was doing a 163 in 1998 with 12 15’s. Now I’m doing a 167.5@37hz with 4 15’s. Clamping over 12,000 watts a sub.
This is the DB Drag world record. Greg Corbin has done a 165@20hz but that was on a burp. This run was done on music for a one minute average drivers door open and microphone on the windshield. If you want to see it done again the DB Drag world finals will be held in October and unless someone comes out of the forest he will get a championship ring.
