I have now been Cancer Free for 13 months. Praise God. I get CT Scan every 3 months making sure no Cancer Cells are back.Doing real good. Still Positive.

I didn't know my grandmother but she was my moms mother. I always imagined what she must have been like. I think its unfair and her name is ....VERSIE! I can't believe I saw this and she has the same name as my grandmother. I wish I couldn't have known her. She died the year her first grandchild was born.

@PeaceCalm42 damn it always sucks when I hear of someone going through it. You hear about it every day in general, but when it hits close to home, and you see how difficult it could be, it changes your whole perspective, as it has done to mine.
My mother was diagnosed late July and passed October 4th. So barely 2 months later, she was immobilized and can barely move. She had metastasis to her cervical spone and thoracic spine so she was in a lot of pain. We were in and out of the hospital and had hospice care till the very end. It pains me to think about it but if there is anything I can do as far as sharing information or experiences, I'd gladly do so. She was only 64 years young. She was my literal life. I can only hope for a miracle for your situation 🙏🙏
@PeaceCalm42 and my mother was stage 4, yes. Stomach cancers are the most, or 1 of the most difficult to detect and usually by the time it is detected, it is stage 4 unfortunately 😕

Minakshi Sewchand can I ask you about her right ? My mom got stage 4 cancer and one of the doctor said there’s not hope. It only got spread to stomach. Right now she’s very weak and has a stroke. She’s doing chemo but it’s making her weak and it’s only the first session. 🙏🙏🙏🙏hope your mom is doing okay.

@@PeaceCalm42 hi my mom passed away in 2021 January. My mom suffered alot during Chemo she became very week. A 48 year old became like a 80 year old. First doctors operated and inserted a chemo port near her color bone, gave chemo 12 cycles in the period of 7 months. And after chemo they suggested her to consult a surgeon. Surgeon told us that she is very week to get operated. They also gave her chemo tablets due to which her fingers became dark and she had tingling feeling all over her hands and legs. Because of so many chemo her veins became dark and thin which us visible from her skin. After few days her stomach started to swell due to liquid because of that she used to feel very heavy and every alternate day they used to remove the liquid using needles. She used to become even more week after removing the liquid. One doctor suggested us to get operated so that the liquid in stomach can reduce. After that surgery her internal organs got damaged and she passed away in a month.
This whole process is very very tough for her physically and mentally. And for us also it was equally tough mentally. Still she didn't loose hope till the last second. My mom was mentally strong. When the cancer was diagnosed initially doctors told that she only have 3months of time. But she made it till 1 year 2 months
I regret not to being with her all the time and I feel I would have given her extra care and comfort.
Please be with the person patiently and always give them support emotionally, be kind and loving and never ever make them feel that they are troubling you.
I pray you have the strength, patience and good health. if you have the will power nothing can defeat you.
