That Robeson is absolutely lovely! I think it looks far better than the 4 plastic blade variant. Man I really wish for days where I can freely air out my room with fresh clean outdoor air, that’s a real luxury for me.
I wish there still made fans like them today or they were still easy to find it’s a shame neither of them are true because people don’t take care of them and they just end up in a dumpster
@@vette9305 The iLIVING ILG8F21 is the same design as this, but it's not quite as powerful. Regardless it's still interesting to see the design surviving this long.
@@JordanU your right I heard you say it in the video the problem with todays stuff is the motors don’t have nearly the same power as they used to causing not enough blade pitch. I have a Lasko h20660 with a motor that only pushes 1.0 amps with basically 0 blade pitch it still moves air very good about more then 2x more then a 3733. but I say that because I’ve never been able to experience the power of a Patton or a Hampton bay like yours witch I’m sure blows about 2x or more of the air that a h20660 does but I wanna say I like your fans a lot 👍
Man I'm so jealous of that weather! Here in Copenhagen it's been cold dark and windy for my of my term here so far... I can't wait to get back to the US for some nicer summer weather so I can tinker and use some of my fans again!
I've used adjustable rubber bungee cords to hold box fans in windows, set the fan on the windowsill and hook the bungee cord inside the window tracks. Has worked great for me even with heavy fans.
Jordan the Robeson three blade box fans are great fans but the blades are very delicate. When you clean and service that fan always make sure the back guard is on before you turn it back on if you dont the blade will shatter. I really enjoyed this video.

Thanks. These warm enough days are still a luxury here at this time of year.
Nice collection of fans. Is your house actually haunted?
No...
I would do anything to have that Hampton bay fan in the same model and condition
That thing is definitely a prized piece.

We've been having a very nice Spring so far this year, there's been a gradual increase in temperature like it's supposed to be.

That would definitely be an improvement. Perhaps I will give it a try.
Good box fan video bro of them in the window and there powerful i enjoyed seeing the spin down time as well .
True those older box fans are very powerful.

Thanks for letting me know.
25:35 good bearings
OK
That Lasko window fan is very cool.
Indeed. I hope to find a few more, it's the only larger window fan I've come across so far that will fit in the windows properly.
Certainly had a few warm days here as well! Nice to see the fans get more run time as the warmer days continue to be more frequent.
Thanks for letting me know.
Awesome fans
Thanks

I didn't feel any wind.

Thanks for letting me know.

The one most people hate but use because they don’t make good box fans anymore.
