Very underated, one of my favorites, I remember begging my aunt to take me to see it when it came out, she did, I loved it and still do to this day. My wife and I play a game filling in the characters with stars from the present to do a remake, one can hope.
I have this on DVD. But it isn't great quality. I hope they release a blu ray with deleted scenes one day. The final showdown was apparently quite a bit longer but the studio made Hill cut a lot of it out.
Yeah I went to order it and there is still only a DVD. I would love if it got a 4K or a Blu-ray release. But for the time being I think I’ll pick up a DVD

I first saw Clancy Brown in Extreme Prejudice and Shoot To Kill. He is quite a formidable actor.

Walter Hill made 3 great films back to back Extreme prejudice 1987 ,Red heat 1988 and Johnny handsome 1989 then he didn't make any good movies
