Hey guys, there’s something realised after posting the video. When you swap in Rover from your subdps, doing the full basic attack sequence takes too much time so all you need to do is do one heavy attack and then spam the rest of your basic attacks but cancel the last wing slam just like I talked about in the video. This will make you gain the full 30% havoc bonus within a short time before you swap her in for instant dark surge.
Just wait till the last 3 sequence and havoc rover will be even more powerful. Hell it's the best main character for gacha game I've ever seen and we only got 2 element for it just crazy good character imagine rover with all elements you get a hypercarry character forever and for free
Some takes from a still in practice havoc team enjoyer: 1. The best weapon they have for now is Blazing Brilliance (Changli's weap). While it doesn't have any liberation damage, it increase with a huge 56% your resonance skill. My havoc Rover deals nearly 120k with only his forte resonance skill, so it's a really good complement to their damage. Also, it allows you to start the fight with a normal resonance skill > support full rotation > half of the sub DPS rotation > swap to H Rover resonance skill again > finish sub sub DPS rotation and then start H Rover rotation. You'll have to make a full BA cycle before landing the ult to get the full sonata effect. In case anyone wants see the rotation, I have a video in my channel with the havoc team. 2. I recommend to use forte resonance skill immediately after Immediately after entering Dark Surge State to cancel the animation. Although the skill increase Dark Surge uptime, Danjin's buff doesn't last enough to make it worth it. 3. If you have a full built Danjin at least S4 or S5, it's better to use her ult after gaining half of her forte bar for not only gain an increased crit rate, but also increased havoc damage. 4. Don't waste time gaining all of Danjin's forte bar unless you're playing as a main DPS. I have seen a few players saying it's better for the havoc team to go double Dreamless if you have Danjin built entirely, but honestly I find the hypercarry team more efficient, but it's still a totally viable and funny way to play them. 5. Verina it's good for them, as with every other DPS, but Shorekeeper's special interaction with havoc Rover really helps them to get the ult in every rotation, especially if you have low crit rate as my Rover (the consequences of having a perfect build, but with 54% crit rate 😥). And... That's all I think. They're one of the most flexible and strong characters in the game. You can play them with almost every character and still get good results.
i just learned that attacking the Fractcidus bazooka boy can aggro the rest of their gang. now i can conveniently clear them faster. thanks for this vid
I tried mid tower overdrive after watching Wall and never got to finish it successfully with the same team. After watching this one, was able to do it because you mentioned the BA setup before nuke, which I didn't know of of the echo sonata. Highest was 272k. Moral of the story: we read y'all. WE READ. Best main character ever, for aestetics and power, usually in gacha they're not powerful, but in wuwa she's awesome. F2p players are blessed for this and bless kurogames for this choice. Shorekeeper buffed rover dmg and mechanics, she has a talent made for rover (they're canon) for energy regeneration. We are waiting for max sequences, S6 is amazing. When Havoc Rover uses their intro skill, while they are sweeping close to the ground there is a short window where you can swap characters while still staying on the ground. With this tech I can double intro into Rover without doing awkward plunge attack swaps and get full forte with only one resonance skill and no basic attacks, it also helps with getting more liberation energy. It is a bit inconsistent, but I do have 170 ping so I dunno.
Man hes actually insane. My rover with shorekeeper and danjin buffs do 30k per hit on his skill on normal form and when i go to use forte and use ult i could do 200k dmg per pop

Incorrect on the liberation being "most of HMC's damage. HMC's damage is evenly split between Skill, Liberation and normal attacks. This is what allows them to be so flexible and slot into any position on a team and is always why it's recommended to level everything on them.
I recommend Yangyang. Jianxin is good for grouping if she’s the dps character in the team because her forte has a pulling effect that is good at grouping but it takes too much time if you’re running her as a sub dps. Yangyang’s skill helps with grouping and it’s easy to use as well(S3 increases pulling range). Her liberation is also good for grouping and hits like a truck if you build her correctly(s5 deals big damage)
I just build havoc rover recently 👍 still trying to get used to him i still prefer spectro rover w xiangli yao and in general too i feel he’s faster and smother than havoc rover
Isn't better to use rover liberation on the last part of combo for dreamless increased dmg? I always use rover liberation when their forte gauge start blinking, use dreamless and switch out...

This will reduce her on-field time, but you’ll get the dreamless damage buff and a little bit of resonance energy before you swap out. I still play genshin but it’s a joke how MC is not even the actual MC. They suck at main dps and on top of that they don’t even talk the most in the actual storyline. Paimaon is the MC of the story with all the yapping she does.
Just a small question, shouldn't HRover's main damage source be their basic attack as you will get 2270.73% with three full 5 basic attacks and the RL's damage is 1520.90%? Also, your rotation would missout on the 50% damage bonus of dreamless since it needs to be within 5 seconds after HRover's RL.
Good point. I thought about it as well. Rover is a liberation focused character but not necessarily basic attack focused. You are right about the total scaling of her basic attack being higher than her liberation but that’s only analysing on face value. To figure out a character’s main damage source you need to look at it from “highest possible damage over a short possible time scenario with buffs” the same thing can be said about Xiangli Yao. For her basic attack damage, it takes a rather long time to complete it while on field and can be easily interrupted by enemy attacks which will make your dark surge state run out faster even though her dodge counter scaling is pretty high in her dark surge state. So the best way to play her is to focus on getting more liberation damage hits which deals more damage in a short amount of time and the instant dark surge rotation I recommend does that job perfectly. You are right about the dreamless echo not doing the 50% additional damage but you can still manage to get it after using just one heavy and basic attack sequence after her liberation in her dark surge state. I used mine twice because of resonance energy recovery but my rover could manage with just one sequence since my energy regen was about 145% because of shorekeeper. Hope this clarifies things about rover

In the video, your Rover, Danjin, Shorekeeper team has the Rover taking up about 12 to 13 seconds on field which is about the same time for Rover to complete 3 full basic attack rotations+RL then Dreamless before switching. For the dodge counter being a negative part ( I do not know a good way to calculate this so this is quite possibly inaccurate), the dodge counter has higher damage than the first three basic attacks combined and skips straight to ba4 and ba5, this and the fact that it also has a higher scaling than ba4 and ba5 with roughly the same duration of animation if not shorter makes me consider it not a negative.
@@Seleon. No worries. You’re not bothering me at all so i’ll be happy to provide feedback back based on my own experience and I think you’re on to something🤔. If you take a look at my video, my dodge counter damage with danjin was 30K and the one with Jianxin was 25K. This means that there are two possible ways to build havoc rover. One that she stays on field for a long time and one that she focuses on casting more liberation nukes which will affect the kind of weapons you give her. The one that focus on getting more liberation nukes will significantly reduce her on-field time so the 50% damage increase from dreamless will work perfectly. So this means that her main damage source will depend on your team selection and build. In the future, if we get a weapon that increases basic attack damage (hopefully from camellya), it will be good to stay on-field after dark surge when using that weapon. At the current state if the game, if you’re using Jianxin, you should just use one heavy and full basic attack sequence and then end it with dreamless to reduce her on-field time since jianxin buffs liberation damage but if you’re using someone like danjin, it increases your basic attack damage as well due to the havoc damage deepen so it’s wise to stay on-field and do basic attacks until her dark surge state has almost ended before you swap out. Yes rover is good, but is not better than 99% of DPS which is basically all dps... While you cleared monkey in 1:30, Jinhsi Zhezhi Shorekeeper, all S0, can clear it in 35 seconds But good video tho
You lost me as soon as you mention her sequence 4-6. No one has these yet and no one knows when we will get them. Using them as a talking point to why H.Rover damage is noteworthy is pure copium.

if you have 230 er on shorekeeper, use echo skill before liberation to get the 10% er from it before casting the liberation which gives another 10%

It’s because of your level. It reduces the damage you can deal by a significant amount. Try to max level her and her talents

You lost me as soon as you mention her sequence 4-6. No one has these yet and no one knows when we will get them. Using them as a talking point to why H.Rover damage is noteworthy is pure copium.
We will be able to get all her sequences before we move to another nation.
