Thank you for making this video! I plan to go to Australia on WHV in 6 months. I’m okay with farm work, but I’d rather work in Tourism and Hospitality hehe So I’m glad that I found your video and could see that everything’s going okay with WHMakers in Darwin :)

Hi, I'm a barista as well and thinking to move to Darwin to get a second visa, so I am very happy to find your video. I am still not very sure with which area is included to get a second visa, and there's 1 question. The postcode of the place you work at (Gateway Shopping Centre) seems it's 0830 and I don't see it on the list of postcode of remote and very remote area. Do you think you can still be approved?
I just found that the whole northern australia is included for hospitality work... so Cairns is included too?
Hi thank u for stopping by, as far as I know you can work in hospitality industry in any area in Northern Territory

Ah I see, i just read it once again to make sure and it says...For the purposes of an employment request, Northern Australia is considered all of the Northern Territory and those areas of Queensland and Western Australia above the Tropic of Capricorn. For NT i believe all area and postcode are eligible for hospitality but i'm not quite sure about Queensland, you need to contact the embassy for the proper explanation about this one I guess 😂 Good luck

Both has CBD, but I think Darwin city is easier

Hi hello Patricia, thank u for stopping by. Semuanya bisa di cek di website immi oz yah, terkait postcode yg eligible untuk extend visa, smpai saat ini smua tempat di NT untuk hospitality job masih eligible, tpi aturan brubah2 ya, jadi ttp hrus cek tiap saat, bisa aja thun dpn upgrade lgi.

Pas di darwin. Cmn skrg lagi wet season sih, jam kerja ga sebanyak dry season. Klo ada mobil, usahain minimal 2 kerjaan klo mau saving

April kayanya masih wet season, job masih sepi. Bisa cari di fb marketplace, grup fb darwin jobs, sama yg paling cepet door to door.

to extend 2nd year whv we need to go to regioanal areas and do barista job?
Tourism and hospitality in northern or remote and very remote Australia are considered eligible specified work for the purpose of a second or third year visa (whv).
There are also other jobs to extend whv that u can find in Australian government website (www.homeaffairs.gov.au).

Hi Anna, as long as it is one of the approved industries by oz goverment, it is counted for 2nd year visa.

yep, the first state I've visited in Oz was Darwin. I'm lucky enough I came in at dry season.
