BG44K platinum due to PEA is one of those that actually works, my engine was pinging like crazy with high load during high climb uphill and this product that i got multiple times completely decimated the carbon so the issue is gone. I also have non GDI / NA engine so the intake is clean.

Use top tier gasoline, change oil (synthetic) every 5k miles, change the PCV valve and Spark plugs every 50k miles. No catch can and valves are clean, even on my 2015 3.5 Ecoboost with over 130k trouble free miles. 3rd generation mechanic and engine builder.
Those, doubting remember the older cars with carburetors? Valves looked horrible. Ever seen inside of a racing engine run on methanol? Crystal clean. Fuel has a lot to do with it!!

Btw how do you know that the stuff (if you ever decide to give it a try) really worx is that it smells like crazy from the exhaust and that what comes from an exhaust loox like a thin tar and it lets a cake of a pizza size

Yes, absolutely. I honestly had more power after the BG44K Platinum with spirited driving run, compared to when I did the Liqui Moly. It will need about 3 applications in my guesstimate (ie for the level of buildup I was dealing with.
AR6900-D max in not a heavy duty cleaner. It's designed to reduce the build up of new carbon deposits. It's a preventative additive. AR6900-D max additive provides a cleaner burn thereby reducing new deposit build up. I would start with a heavy duty cleaner the bg44k and followup with AR6900-D max in every tank full.
Those valves are really caked up. It would be good to do walnut shell blasting and maybe after that follow up with one of the cleaners. I hope cleaners helped with the injectors at least. If not, you can pull injectors out and try ultrasonic bath.
Yeah, mechanical cleaning is on the list! Will clean injectors at the same time. On this car, the intake manifold needs to come off to reach the injectors. I had always planned to do a mega tune up at the 100k mark. It will have to come early. Lols

Depends on your use case. If you have good fuel, you can just go with BG44K Platinum just before your oil change. That's the product that brought the most power back of all the fuel cleaners I've used.
1st and foremost rule: don't buy any car with GDI! Period! 2nd if you didn't follow the 1st rule: give the car away after 24 to 36 months. 3rd if you didn't follow safe money for walnut blasting. Not any other possibility - simple as that! 🤷♂️
Such a shame. It's not only Canada. These chemicals are HAZMAT and generally require specialised shipping conditions. Not usually shipped by air due to increased risk of fire.
I observe an hour with CRC intake valve and turbo cleaner, but this liqui moly product says nothing about heat soaking. In fact, it doesn't even say to drive the car afterwards.
Liqui Moly Fail, yes. But I won't call BG a fail at all. It just needs multiple applications for the level of buildup I have. In all my testing; and I've done quite a few, I'm yet to come across a product in the tank that would clean this level of deposits in one application.
Just keeping it real, so others who don't have the time or effort to view the internals of an engine can know what to expect when they just put these products into the tank

Yup..pretty much for all direct injection engines. You need to physically clean the intake valves. Or use an intake cleaner on a regular basis.
