He was just as nice of a person as he was a great comedian. I was a bartender at the Comedy House in Columbia, SC back in the late 90's early 2000's. James would be the headliner a couple times a month if not more. Great with the customers, and staff. He will be missed.
Born on the 6th May 1964 ? He was born in 1946 the same year I was born. It is not much of a tribute if you get his facts wrong. James was the funniest man I ever knew. i loved his humour.
