Mein leaf compost bnana shuru kiya tha Bina decomposer k.. 2 month mein kafi ban gai thi . without knowledge meine green leaf b daal diye the . Mean sukhe and green jo b muje milte the mere small garden mein mein box mein dal deti thi... Aur soil b. So ban gai... Nature is so great we should always thankful to nature.

मैं तो मिक्स भी कभी कभार करता हूँ।
गेहूं वाली चलनी से लगभग तीन महीने बाद छानकर बारिक अलग कर लेता हूँ, और बारिक वाला हिस्सा जो बिलकुल फ्री फ्लो होता है, उसे अलग कर गुड- छाछ मिलाकर 15 दिन फिर गलने देता हूँ।

I use the see thru fabric bags. Fill with dry tamarind and drumstick leaves. Tie the handles soak in water till absolutely soggy. Let it seep out / dry and scrunch the leaves further with my hands in a day or two. Refill with leaves shuffled to bottom. Soak and let dry again. Two more times repeat till leaves compacted to 90% capacity. Ideally this should happen in eight to nine days. Maybe lesser if smaller bag. Then ensure moisture with goat urine instead of water. Not soggy. Instead of fresh leaves I spread coffee and tea grounds (dried and wetted over a week to fortnight earlier, with three mixings) over balance 10% space. Except for leaves collection for filling, everything is done on my terrace after 7.30 pm after dinner. (This is black gold and I do not mind having a bath again (cos of goat urine moisture mixing the almost leaf mould by hand). Mix / Moisturise the leaves with goat urine every alternate day two or three times depending of completion. Slight care is taken to ensure some coffee grounds remain atop till the final mix. Thus optimally in 15 days I have the best potting soil, for seeds, seedlings and saplings. It takes me about a month though for somedays are too rough on the farm and it seems I am always 10 days behind

Hey PG it is very easy and cheap method to use. But, After all a doubt raises as you about waste decomposer I know many companies does sell it. But in home made way many people use butter milk (chhach), curd, milk and even Jaggery. Can you tell me in home made way what we can use to speed up process.
Half done compost and butter milk will be good, but that won't able to speed up the process like waste decomposer.
