Hi daria, hope you are well. I just received my PSM III Result and it was 73.1%. First attempt. Been a scrum master for 6 months. I’d be grateful for Any hints/tips. ? Cheers.
Hi Omar, it's a good first attempt. Don't get discouraged. Have you attended a class to get ready? PSM II is a great class that can definitely help you prepare. I have a few upcoming classes you can find here: scrummastered.com/agile-scrum-courses/ I also really like going to Scrum forums, like the Scrum.org one, and reading through the questions there - it's a great way to test myself trying to resolve some challenging situations from others. Apart from that I recommend looking into the Scrum Mythbusters article series by The Liberators and their Zombie Scrum Survival Guide book. I also have a mentorship program that might be a good fit for you. Let me know
Can someone take the PSM 3 without taking the PSM 1 & 2 exams and passing them? I know this would require a lot of studying and practicing, it just seems more cost effective, especially if someone is paying out of pocket
Yes, you can go for any of the exams with Scrum.org - there are no pre-requisites. I would say though, it is an extremely hard exam that is very different from everything else. It might make sense to test your knowledge on the previous exam levels before jumping into PSM III.
I'm not sure it would, to be honest, because many recruiters don't really understand that a person with a PSM III has more knowledge and skills in the area. I would say it is more of a personal achievement. Maybe if you are a Professional Scrum Trainer - but that's a different story.

@@ScrumMastered thank you for your insight 🤗
Can I avail PSM II directly without appearing for PSM I?
Yep, there are no pre-requisites for taking these exams
Hi, I am looking for PSM-3 mentorship...I am PSM-2 certified.
Hi Avishek, I'm currently offering one-on-one mentorship. You can book a free discovery call here: calendly.com/scrummastered/mentorship-introduction
Will having a PSM 3 get me more money salary wise when I apply to an organization?
