Some things are right (or wrong) regardless of which party is doing it.
If someone wanted to go FJB, it would be simple enough to point out that Trump had gone down a similar path.
A good test to use is "how would you feel about it if the other guy was doing it?" If a person changes their opinion based on that, they haven't thought it through.

The only thing the Tik Tok ban would do is not allow NEW users from downloading the app. It has no effect on existing users. If your business is dependent on new users, then the ban affects you. If your business is dependent on current users only, then your business won’t be affected.

That’s what is being reported but even so you wouldn’t be able to update the app etc. And also there isn’t any clear definition yet or if that could change down the road. Indias ban pretty much shutdown all 200 million user account overnight. Overall though it’s likely not going to happen anyways which is why this more of an opportunity to think differently about how reliant we are on these platforms and how to diversify

If the issue is being overly reliant on social media, that issue was a problem before the Tik Tok ban. There has always been a problem if a tech giant decides they want your business, or they don't like your business for some reason, to pull the rug out from under you. This has generally been more of a threat to tech companies, but the treat exists for all businesses.
As with most things, the correct answer is a diversity of approaches.
