- Using my awesome Hoover Elite 1225 washer today.
The last Aussie Hoover to be made with a Heater included to boost the water temperature.
Washing white sheets on a Normal 15min Wash with boosted Hot Water (60°C).
My mum had a Hover similar to this back in the early nineties and died in 2004 replaced with a Maytag Atlantis and still going strong.
I’m really into washing machines as well so really like this. I’m blind so can’t see it but it sounds great. It sounds like my grandparents Old hoover washer. The only differences is the pump sound was a bit different and it did the loud click on both first and second Spins. it also had two tubes and a suds return feature. But the feature stopped working. In 2006 it started making a really loud grinding noise at the end of both spin cycles, and my grandparents replaced it with a Maytag washer. They now have an F and P wash smart Toploader. I wish that I could’ve been able to keep the old washer, but I was 12 at the time and didn’t have that kind of authority. And back then they were trying to stop me being obsessed with those kind of things. They said it wasn’t normal to be interested in washing machines.
I have subscribed to both you and Elliot‘s UA-cam channels. It’s very good to see fellow washer enthusiasts. And I definitely love to meet you guys one day. I live in Australia, Sydney. I’m not sure what part of Australia you guys live in. But would love to meet you one-day.
Love the decent Hoover washers. They were built to last.
Really nice washer. Love the fact that it really does all those spray rinses plus deep rinse.
I grew up with hoover and simpson washing machines in the 90s my mother had this one
in the end of the video i could hear an lg running
On the last spin I see it does a final spray rinse. Does this remove most of your fabric softener?
I don’t think we have ever had Hoover washers here in the United States. Is this a common machine in your area?
Very nice dogs they look very friendly what’s their names
It’s got some cracking agitation on it
What’s causing the squeaking noises?
Put some WD 40 and that should get rid of the squeaking
CRIKEY! YUCK! What's the point of saving that dirty sudsy water in the first place?
