Mrs. Veronica, this may sound unbelievable, but I had a dream that it was dark all around me. A voice said look into the darkness. I asked "What am I looking for?" The reply was, "you will know when you find it." But I woke up just after to my alarm. As soon as I looked at my phone I saw your video.

Sensory deprivation is something I do in water. I have not tried it in the dark, nor for days at one time. I envy you the time to have your experience. So happy for you. Love the painting. You're right, it's not for everyone ... but, some of us need it. It's close to rebirth.

Thanks for sharing your profoundly meaningful experience Veronica. I’ve never been in complete darkness but did an 8 day completely silent retreat where we were not even to make eye contact with others attending. It was an extraordinarily rich experience and my reluctance to speak once we could was amazing! The experience of oneness, calm, peace and well being was so life affirming, it has stayed with me these past 20 years! ☺️

Thank you for sharing your experience. Darkness is within us all and running from it is like running from ourselves. Inside the womb of the mother, we are in complete darkness. When we learn to integrate our darkness with our light we become fully embodied and the fully healed versions of self. It is when we sit in stillness that we can hear our own inner voice, our Holy spirit/Higher self, our connection to Source. 💕😊

Glad you enjoy it but one thing I really can't stay in complete darkness. It always feel that the darkness want to swallow me. I live in South Africa and we experience complete darknes every day the government turns every lights of I am so upset if it happens because I am no gets panicke atacks
That’s so interesting to hear Sarah. I hope you’ll find strenght to enjoy the night. I actually have got remote garden far away from the city, near the forest with no lights. And I really enjoy the nights there. I feel like it’s never dark, because the stars are soo bright. Plus I always see sooo many moving light on the sky, that I sometimes wish they were not there.

Ms. Mii, thank you so very much for sharing your pilgrimage into the darkness. Every now and then, you'll share something so very personal that I feel it in my heart. When you said you'd spent a week without light sensory deprivation on purpose (and I'm glad it's not because of an illness). The journey sounded holy.
It was a kindness for you to share with us.
