Another fun art experiment using only 4 basic colours + black and white for swipes. I hope you enjoyed my video and I hope it helped you to understand how I created my art :-) ❤️🌈 Veronika Mii
Okay. Your "crazy" is amazing! Those multi-color, randomly shaped cells caught in that free-form lacy web...beautiful. Well done, brave painter. Well done.
Wow. Your pour and swipes had me on the edge of my seat. I am used to one swipe, and then you did black of all things and then white again! You surely are not afraid of your paint. I really enjoyed this video and the result is beautiful!
I loved each stage of this. Had i done this it wouldnt have come out this way. Especially when you turned it over on the table, mine would get drag from the lifting process. How did u avoid that. Plus all your colors stayed vibrant! Wow. Loved watching.
Very good..amazing try outs I did like the colors before the last swipe also, that was so funny you flipping the canvas..i also love the end of it..so many cells..great job.
Gorgeous end result & fun technique. I loved it! I could see beautiful lacing & what looked to me to be some precious stones, like emeralds, sapphires & rubies. 💚💙❤😊
The painting is gorgeous. I couldn’t believe it when you pressed it upside down but loved that result and thought you might stop there - but then you swiped again! Brilliant! I should also like to say what a warm and self effacing person you seem and that makes it even more delightful that your pour was a success. X
Your glue pouring medium is so wonderful for multiple swipes! Using Floetrol muddies the colors if you swipe more than once. I will have to buy some elmers glue now!💕
Veronica I love you. You are a lovely open 💓 person. I am going to try glue because in our country pouring medium is very expensive. I look at you way of working over and over.I am going to try and see if I can make one of your ideas. Thank you for your sharing everything with us. Lots of love
I use a plastic sheet also and I acquired mine at an office supply store. Mine came in a packet of two and cost a dollar per packet. I bought 3. Also, I would suggest cleaning the head of your torch. A good 20-minute soak in some Alcohol should do the trick. An in America the glue we use is Elmer's all-purpose. I enjoy watching your experiments.
That turned out absolutely gorgeous. I love it. You did a wonderful job & that inspires others to be creative & inventive. Good for you. How do you mix the glue for your pouring medium? Do you use it full strength or do you dilute it with water? And how much of it do you, then, use with your paint? Also, how much paint do you mix with the pouring medium? I really want to start doing this type of art, but I know very little.
Thank you Michelle, I mix my pouring medium from PVA glue. I use 60% of glue, 40 % water. And then I mix 50% pouring medium and 50% acrylic colours. I hope that helps
Thank you Rael :-) and yes. In some of my pours I use 50/50 :-) but it depends on the type of my colours. Some brands are more thick and some are thinner, so I use different percentage :-)
Hope you don’t mind explaining:-1) Do you add silicone oil to colours or to the white? 2) White is just the mixture of white and pouring mixture or no white added at all.
So, it's the glue that makes those cells appear? Could you please give approximate instructions on how much glue / water / acrylic paint you have in one colour mixture? Like what are the proportions (e g. 10% glue, 10% water, 80% paint)? Thank you so much for sharing this, very fascinating!👍
Yikes! You are holding your torch too close, I think. I hold it 30cm above. You can always dip your metal grid tool that you bought into silicone and dip it into your colours if you haven’t got enough cells. I often use a comb. Olga from Smart Art Materials uses this technique. Te colours are beautiful with the white lacing. Unlike other comments I love the end result most!

I would love a world full of Miis. You inspire me with your paintings and your character

I love your gentle voice. I woul never have thought of swiping more than once, and also using black as a swipe colour! Fantastic result 😍
Thank you very much for your nice comment Irene. I like to experiment a lot and sometimes it creates beautiful things :-)

Wow, wow, wow!!!! Unbelievable and exquisite. I am in awe of your creativity.
Thank you :-)
It was interesting watching it change with each swipe. I, personally, liked it better before the last swipe, when you placed it face down.
Great fun to watch the evolution of the painting under repeated techniques.
Thank you Judith

Mii I tried this technic today. I will tag you in the post ❤
👍🏻❤️
Do you put silicone in all the paints including swipe white and black? Lovely creation
yes :-) but only 1 drop :)
Is the white 50% paint, 50% your pouring medium as well?
Beautiful work Veronica!
I loved it when you said okeydokey!
Thank you Rael :-) and yes. In some of my pours I use 50/50 :-) but it depends on the type of my colours. Some brands are more thick and some are thinner, so I use different percentage :-)

Thank you :-) I am from Czech :-)
Thanks!

@@MiiPaintings My pleasure :-)
Are the swiping colors made differently than your other colors?
What is the purpose of torching it? Can one leave that step out?
It heps the cells pop. It wound’t have that much cells if I didn’t torch
Did you add a base code to the canvas before pouring? Or is it necessary? Thanks Mii, your the best.
I don’t remember exactly, but I think so. It is not neccasary though.
@@MiiPaintings okay, next time I won't use use it nd see what happens.
Hope you don’t mind explaining:-1) Do you add silicone oil to colours or to the white? 2) White is just the mixture of white and pouring mixture or no white added at all.
To all colours. And it’s mixture of white acrylic and pouring medium
I wonder where are you from. You have lovely accent☺️
Thank you :-) From Czech Republic :-)
Didn't see that coming
what's in your swipping colors??? one you used gesso???
I am sorry I don’t remember, but I think I describe everything in the video

Pouring medium is mix of PVC glue 60% and water 40% . And than pouring medium versus acrylic colours is mix 1:1
@@MiiPaintings Thank you🙏
Gracias

Wish you wouldn't have done that final swipe. I loved it before.
WHAT AMOUNT OF GLUE TO WATER AND THEN HOW MUCH OF THE POURING TO PAINT. IM QUITE NEW TO THIS
POuring medium is 60% PVA glue and 40% water. And then I mix 50% pouring/50% acrylics.
