- Ok, so I have another equestrian product review for you today! - I know, I am supposed to be doing tips for tacking up faster, and that's coming....I promise! BUT something amazing came in the mail today, and I just have to share it with you guys!
I have to start by saying a big THANK YOU to everyone at Jeffers, because they sent me this awesome hay ball feeder to try out, and then share with you. So thank you Jeffers!
And if you are wondering what this thing is, well it is a feeder, and a toy mixed in one for your horse. And it is pretty awesome. I literally filled it up with hay, showed it to Plezant, and he loved it! I can't wait to have him turned out with this, he has a toy that feeds him! How awesome is that?
Jeffers Equine carries this Hay Ball Feeder that is made by Burlingham Sports. And it costs $78.99. It comes in blue, red, orange, green and purple. You can see it for yourself here:

Cool great idea for my mare who has laminitis and eats so fast it's crazy! Shes part draft breed so shes an easy keeper ..I will give it a try ! Thanks for the info!
(DANGER ! DANGER! DANGER) My wife is critical care nurse on a helicopter unit. last week they received a call on a horse getting his Toung caught in one of the holes and wasn't able to remove it. caused loads of damage. This ball is dangerous for your horse. up until last week we had one for our horses. my wife called me right after that call to get that ball out of our horses stall immediately. I'm surprise it still on the store shelves.
I loike it but at the end of the day how much hay were they actually able to get out of it?? It seems it won't all come out.
Ponylover Madden I have one and my boy gets it all out by the end of the day
It's all about keeping them enriched and stimulated. The goal isn't necessarily feeding but activity and brain games. The little bit of hay they do get is rewarding enough to keep them going and interested. If they get it all, great, if not then supplement later. Hope this helps.
Is he having fun? Or is he saying I'm hungry, where the bloody hell is my food 🤔 😆
Frisbee is one sway backed, high withered, fat horse. Nothin wrong with that tho. Looks good!
I would love to try that with my horse, but he is in a pasture with many horses and they would attack it. I need my own place like yours.
Love this I have one for my boy, it keeps him from eating too fast and keeps him amused. I put grass hay in his (first or second cut)and he manages to get it all out, it took a few tries to figure it all out but he gets all of it out now 💕💕💕😊
This is so cool! I have a treat you like this that my mare loves but I think this is a great idea for enrichment.
If it were faster to fill I’d try it.
He's so cute...he loves it!
Stuff some 🍎 or 🥕 in there. My horse loves her ball and is thrilled when extra treats fall out.
Have been wanting to try these for my 4 horses so badly, but I can’t feed on the ground because of sand colic 😣
I love Jeffers pet and equine!!
I don't know if I can ride a finder horse
How long does it take to get all the hay out?
What an awesome toy! 😍 I need to get one for my pony.
So beautiful 😘😘🐴🐴🐴🐴❤️❤️🐴
I have a horse that finder
And I like it
Ware can I get hey neat for my horse so they don't eat on the ground can you tell.me thank you
Just look of hay nets on Dover or smartpak
I love you
❤️
I have been looking at getting one of these for my mini.
I don't know about this particular brand, but the one I've got if these I would be concerned of the hole size with a mini. It is big enough for a mini hoof to fit through and my pony's love to to kick and paw theirs. I'd recommend seeing them in person so you can judge the hole size first. xx
@@theitherd good point, thanks for bringing it up.
