@matttriano false, I've seen great parents wind up with kids that get cancer, I've seen great parents who have kids who make bad decisions just because they want to, they know it's wrong and do it anyway. Raising kids doesn't come with a manual and you can do "everything right" and kids still wind up being F' ups, I've seen where parents do everything wrong, fiends and all that and their kids wind up exceptional, all a parent can do is what they think is best to make sure they teach their kids the best way possible. There is no right or wrong way unless it's aggregious and intentionally malicious intent, and borderlining on the edge of illegal conduct. Like beating, starving, or crazy stuff like you hear on those crime videos, a whooping is not the same as violence against your child, because with your logic. No one should be jailed, no criminal should be aggressively put down when necessary by your own logic. It can't be OK in one sense and not another.
