Kendrick : “it’s time for him to PROVE that he a PROBLEM”
J Cole : *proceeds to prove that he indeed is NOT a problem
That was aimed at Drake.

Exactly, and this time it is a phony click up with the other guy people put in the big 3. He is also talking about out doing Michael J.
The last verse ends with "it's a lot of goofies with a check" That is Drake.
and the verse ends with "I'm snatchin' chains and burnin' tattoos" That alludes to the OVO tattoos his crew gets and the chains he gives them.

Kudos to Mel for standing up for herself this episode and not allowing them to continue to talk over her. Love that for her. Sometimes you have to teach people how to treat you.
Sometimes you also have to earn respect. Mel is running out of all these passes yall are giving her for just sitting on the couch while adding nothing to the conversation
@@SilverJoystixwhat does that have to do with respect?
She adds nothing but eye candy to the show, I'm not trying to be disrespectful to her either. She just doesn't fit. 5 people on a pod is probably too many. That's a panel and Joe talk enough for 3 people already
@@ashleybrown2842 Are you a bot? Are you asking what does earning respect have to do with respect?
@@SilverJoystix I actually plainly asked what does respect have to do with the original comment but okay. You said she needs to earn her respect.. I asked what does respect have to do with it ? someone else replied she adds nothing. The original comment was about her literally trying to add her take and being spoken over but not allowing that to happen. So what does respect have to do with anything the original comment was about. How can she “earn” her respect if when she adds her views she’s always spoken over.. but we can move on.
Vince needs his own show, so he can see first hand what topics sell into our peoples ears.

“Not Cole anything not even cole slaw” 😂😂😂
Man when I heard the Cole response I already knew I didn’t want to hear them dissing each other. He said Kendrick last album was trash, knowing damn well that album is the type of album Cole would love. Cole was right it was corny, and he let the internet bait him to do something he didn’t really want to do. Let Kendrick and Drake go at it, the 10 year build up was really just a Kendrick and Cole album, not them dissing each other. I do need Cole to come out and say, “I don’t want to diss my mans, but I’ll smoke anyone else that got something to say” or something.
That response would’ve been somewhat better but dawg didn’t even do that🤦🏿♂️
What's done is done😂😂
Cole knew everything about it was corny. The weirdos gassed him up to diss Kendrick even tho Kendrick directly called out Drake. Cole looked like a dumb side chick jumping in front of a bullet for a dude that don’t gaf what happens to them.
Then the actual diss he just straight up lied because he had nothing on Kendrick but I do think part of it is him knowing the industry and knowing Kendrick was having a hard time dropping because of TDE and that it wasn’t his choice to be quiet on the scene.
People forget Kendrick did almost 600k first week before Drake ever did that and was getting ready to takeover the game and then up and disappeared….. now he’s back like the Avatar to restore balance when the game needed him the most.
Mr Morel was trash and I love section 80 and TPB the hooks in Mr Morel were bad company to typical Kendrick shit the songs were not good but the concept was great
As a super Cole fan I agree 😢🥴it’s a dark time for music as my 🐐 is “popping 💩 and apologizing” 😭😭

What makes the most sense is if Kendrick responds but it's about his dominance in rap and how he got Cole out the way and doesn't even have to worry about him responding and 3/4 of the way through do a beat flip and take aim at Drake. That to me makes the most sense.
Kendrick won't shoot any more darts at Cole

J.Cole let all the backpack rappers down, he let Nas down, he let the niggas who work at the Starbucks down. He even let my own mama down dawg. Just shameful
I love when everyone contributes in the conversation and gives contrary opinions.
I'm wit Kendrick all the way
Why do we act like we don’t know what Drake is gonna say? It’s always more of the same. All of his bars will be related to him having more money, more cars, more houses, more materialistic stuff, more women, etc. And people are gonna say oouuuuuuu. But honestly nobody cares about that in a rap battle
Last thing imma say about this before the shit hits the fan. Kendrick vs Drake will always be divisive and a Drake type will always be the one who comes out on top when it comes to public opinion. Why? Because of the tension between the conscious and the unconscious. They speak for different audiences, the ignorant masses vs the educated minority. Drake is a champion of the masses and for good reason. Life is hard, so it’s nice to forget about the trials and tribulations of life. That is a easy concept to understand. Put on some music and forget it all. But Kendrick will always be the champion of the ones who want/need change. It’s easier to pretend like you’re cool, attractive and rich then accept that you’re not. The truth is Kendrick matters more to his fans even if he has less of them. When he drops the earth shakes, but Drake’s music makes the world go round every year. You gotta have the ignorant masses for there to be an educated minority. Yin and Yang. When Jay was at the top of the game he used his status as a hit maker to drop knowledge. Then most of the ignorant fans he had moved on. Drake will probably do the same when he closes out his career and the same thing will happen. Cole wanted to play the fence and what happens when you walk on a tight rope… you fall off…
This the one ☝️
Sometimes you find a comment that speaks for ya spirit and you just got dat head nod the whole time reading it. I hope we get a real lyrical masterpiece from this beef, and of course, no violence. Well said…
I been saying this I cannot relate to Drakes music at all. He doesn't talk about the struggles growing up being a black man in this white world. Let alone the struggles of not knowing where your next meals coming. Just listen to what he raps about, he hasn't evolved as a artist at all and is only focused on making music catering to a certain audience
Yea Mel we need that challenge!
It’s no secret Melyssa like Ish, why Joe gotta play in it so much 😂😂😂
Cole did what he had to do. I just hope that one day in the future, when he's 70 years old or so and his grandkids are sitting on his lap while he tells the tale of the TOP 3, that he has no regrets.
