Falco.
I don't understand much he says...being my german is a bit rusty. But I love every clip (I could listen to this man talk all day, I love his voice), my favorite has to be Falco interviewing Amadeus. A sign of pure genius..I just love Falco's accent as Amadeus, he sounds like a surfer dude. Totally Awesome..
the way he said "business as usual" was adorable with that accent. The English Mozart interview was the only thing I understood and it was funny, but I like listening to him speak even if I can't understand it. Liebe für Hans!
Falco was my childhood angel, I lost my father very early and remember this man that through his music helped me through it all. When I grew up, I still had him by my side. A time with cancer, accidents, bad relationships, aso. Falco I know you protect me from your heaven, and I thank you with all my heart and soul for that. " If I say please and promise to be good, could you come back to us we have so much to thank you for... Alles liebe für dich mein engel. BUSSI
This is one American that could care less about listening to Mariah Carey, and as for Prince I have never forgiving him for knocking Falco (Rock Me Amadeus) out of the #1 spot over here 23 years ago. Some things you never forget. I'd much more prefer to listen to Falco, anyday.
Loved these interviews and loved this man. Didn't understand it all, but what the heck. All I have to say 2:11-3:18 was when MTV was cool.RIP Hansi, you are missed.
Yeah, that's right, no wonder some of Americans here do not know Falco's songs, because they prefer more to listen to schwarz music lik Prince or Mariah Carry
I didn't say he wasn't famous, I said he wasn't VERY famous. Many Americans know "Rock me Amadeus" but that doesn't mean they know Falco sang it. My point was that when Falco died it received very little mention in the news so I was asking what it was like in Austria at that time. You need to chill out before you go getting an attitude over a simple question.
What was the reaction in Austria when Falco died? He was not very famous here in America, so I heard very little news when this happened. I am curious to know how it was for Austrians that day. And do people still speak of him very often?
he was 3 weeks number 1 in america in 1986 with "rock me amadeus". first german speaking singer ever...So please don't tell us he wasn't famouse in US if you don't know...
What does he say around 2:20? I'm not sure. Maybe sth. like: "I know it's really kind of a typical cliche like people say, but could you explain to our audience- How do you handle your sucess at the moment?!
"first german speaking singer ever.." No, Nena holds that honor, another amazing singer. I'm not taking away from Falco's incredible achievement, but Nena was in fact first.

One, two, one, two - Watergate, Watergate...
Wow! That short bit in English was...weird! :P

@Robespierre7 you represent the prejudices the world has about your country :D

Gibt es das Interview von 1992 noch irgendwo?

No, Nena holds that honor, another amazing singer. I'm not taking away from Falco's incredible achievement, but Nena was in fact first.
What the hell. Okay, your comment is 10 years old, but still: the first german speaking RAPPER! SINGER? REALLY?
