Wow! I doubted that your bedroom floors were really that dirty because I know you clean your floors so regularly. I am shook! That made a huge difference!
We are hosting this year, I had hernia surgery about a week ago, Dr said it was very large, 12 inches, in alot of pain. Hubby will be cooking whole dinner, thankful for him. Wish us luck
I was admitted into the hospital on Sunday, and sad to say I’m still here. I miss my kids! I have an adult daughter who’s 22, my granddaughter who is 2, my middle child 10 & my youngest who is 9 months old! I’m thankful for my oldest who has been taking care of my younger 2 girls. Unfortunately the younger 2 aren’t able to visit me in the hospital for thanksgiving either because they have to be 12 yrs of age or older 😢 I hope y’all have a great Thanksgiving with your family! I loved the floor cleaning. No jole about how much dirt comes in from animals. We have 3 cats and one small dog. Good grief, I clean my floor daily and I often wonder "if I had no pets how much easier cleaning would be - ugh"! And then I know I love my pets so I keep up cleaning often, LOL!!! Have a blessed thanksgiving!!

Hi Cambriea, my son is a professional gamer. He has played for over 15 years now and travels to play all over the world. He has been through numerous gaming chairs and has had the same problem with the peeling and the texture in the chairs. He honestly just prefers and really likes a regular desk chair, on wheels, from Walmart. We picked him up a $60 one about 2 years ago and it has been his favorite. It definitely doesn't have any bells or whistles or look super cool, but for siting and gaming, it has been ideal for him. Especially with his posture and the amount of sitting that he does. Good luck.

I’m not hosting, and now I can’t go see family, because my toddler has a fever. 😢 So I’ll have to figure out how to make it still feel special, at home with just him and me. At least my husband is bringing home food from the big dinner!
I don't usually host anymore. My daughter and son in law have a big house, and they like to have all of the family dinners there ~ it's fine with me! It's nice getting a break after so many years. 😂 Cambriea, I never had any luck shopping early either, and for the same reasons. I've bought a few things, but not much. It is stressful! 🥴 I did finish my decorating today though, I just did my livingroom and a few things in my kitchen. I've really pared things down the past couple of years, as far as Christmas decor. I would never of imagined that those floors were dirty, since you're always cleaning them. Those darned textures! 🥴😁 They look beautiful now! ❤

I am not a comforter person for bedding. I have duvet covers and got fed up with taking the cover on and off to wash. Now I just place the duvet cover on top of the duvet. You cannot see any difference. Much easier.

I have a suggestion for gaming chairs! Secret Lab gaming chairs are pricey but really last. My boyfriend got one 6+ years ago and it’s really held up. I got one 4 years ago myself even though I don’t game because it’s just so comfortable. They also have great customer service.
Also, I’ve seen on TikTok a scrub attachment for the O Cedar mop. Maybe that would be easier on your back but also allow you to scrub your bedroom floors? I’ve seen people using it on their tile floors in their bathrooms.

When my whole family gets together, we have to do it at my aunt and uncles church. Our family is so large now that we dont fit in one house! Its a blessing but it can be alot and very over stimulating. We love our crazy get togethers though :)

There is a scrub brush attachment that attaches to the Ocedar spin mop. That might work well for scrubbing the textured flooring.

I’m hosting this year, but it really doesn’t feel like it. I have an adult daughter that lives with us and a married daughter very close by. It will just be us three and my four grandkids. My husband is out of town and my son in law is working so three adults, one teen, and three littles.
That’s definitely something we have needed to get used to since being down here is much smaller holidays

I totally agree with you Cambria! When I was a lot younger I always cleaned my floors on my hands and knees you can get into all the corners.I now have severe arthritis in both knees unfortunately so I have to mop .xxxx

Hello The reason that your steamer is tripping the breaker is you need GFCI outlets and breakers. I’m not 100% sure if they are called the same thing in the USA but up here they are mandatory in our houses. Your steamer acts as a dead short and will trip a normal breaker every time. Please be careful this is how fires get started in breaker boxes. ❤️❤️

I have the same duvet cover in a terra cotta color. I love it. It’s the only one that I’ve found that releases dog hair easily in the wash.

When I lived in Panama, I would go home to visit home in Minnesota in the winter to see the snow. I enjoyed. It was only for a couple weeks and then back to Panama. Now we live I northern Idaho and have the 4 seasons.When we lived in Florida, I told my husband we are not retiring in Florida. I'm not a hot weather person. Now my husband gets cold all the time, but said he doesn't want to move south, because then we'd need the ac. And he hates ac.
