Optimus and Elita having a thing mentioned in this episode was unexpected but not unwelcome. And it's very fitting because this is in an alternative G1 universe.

When was the last time a Transformer has ever sneezed? The only other time I can think of where that has happened is Rhinox in Beast Wars.

This was pretty fun sometimes in shows filler episodes could a hit or miss and this was definitely hit I like how goofy Optimus is nice to see fun and more optimistic side pun intended. I like Hashtag and her relationship with her siblings so wholesome, the trailer is really cool and the little one two and also the nerdy guy with the glasses is same person from the butterfly effect who Robby and mo the funnel cake. This episode was a 8/10 for me was pretty fun don’t any problems with it except it is a filler episode but other that had a good laugh watching this one!

I dunno. My simping ass would’ve instantly heart on Optimus if I see his pose. These humans in Earthspark lack good taste. 😤

If elita saw prime in the photo poses i bet my legacy blitzwing elita walks in and widens her optics and casually walks away

Surprised no one's mentioned the "Dude, Where's My Car" reference in this episode's title

not sure what's funnier. the fact he's canonically allergic to pine or that he's canonically single

plus given how much more development has been done so far between Optimus and Megatron (*ESPECIALLY in contrast to how underutilized Elita has been throughout the show), Earthspark's writing team now has the chance to do THE funniest fucking thing IMAGINABLE and send the whole series off with a bang. (wink wink nudge nudge 🏳️‍🌈)

my only complaint about this episode is how Optimus is allergic to pine trees which doesn't make sense since cybetronians shouldn't be able to smell.

    Just, why?
My opinions on this episode. I don’t like it.
I’m sorry, I just don’t like this episode, and it’s easily the worst episode of Season 2 and one of the worst in Earthspark as a whole, and I seem to be the only one who sees that. First, I’m not docking points because it’s a filler episode. Filler episodes can be good if written correctly and in a fun way like Bear Necessities. But this episode wasn’t fun. It’s boring. In addition, like BN, they both have a major problem, their placements. BN was placed literally after the downer ending of Security Protocols where Bee has to go into hiding to protect the Maltos, and it’s never bought up again. This episode has a worst situation. Spitfire and AM literally stole the cyber-slayer, and this episode was stuck in-between that and the finale. The flow is so off, you have an intense ending, where Starscream is one-step ahead, and we’re wasting time chasing down a trailer for a photoshoot.
Another issue I have, is Robby. Why didn’t he just tell Optimus the trailer was being stolen? He could’ve saved him and Hashtag so much trouble if they bought in Prime to help. It’s especially annoying when Hashtag knows what to do, and Robby constantly dismisses her. But my main issue with Robby and the episode as a whole, is the moral.
The moral seemingly was supposed to be, you should always tell someone about a problem before it escalates into a worse problem. Did they go through with that? NO! Robby and Hashtag didn’t ask Optimus, the situation escalated but got the trailer back anyway, cleaned it up, almost got to the shoot on time without Optimus knowing what happened. Meaning, Robby, didn’t learn a damn thing.
Also, did I get a three strikes formula for this episode? Everytime Robby and Hashtag tried to get the trailer back, it’s stolen by the villains. First AM, then Nolan North, and finally Nicole Debuc. And everytime, the villains try to break open the trailer like it’s a surprise egg or something, Robby and Hashtag are there in interfere. It’s basically the same thing. Three strikes are not the way to go, just look at the HIT or Nitrogen Era of Thomas. Only a handful of episodes did the formula correctly, otherwise, they’re either boring, grading or annoying.
I’m gonna sound like a broken record, but this is once again a missed opportunity to give Nightshade an episode. We really didn’t need an episode where Robby and Hashtag chase down a trailer, so give Nightshade something to.
As for anything good, the decepticons were entertaining enough I guess. AM’s scene was probably the best, I mean he tried the break the trailer with a train, that’s kind of funny. And the scenes with Optimus and JB were, kind of fun, especially the interview scene.
Overall, I don’t like this episode, it’s boring, Robby didn’t learn anything, and a missed opportunity to give Nightshade an episode, instead it’s Hashtag taking the second spotlight. Is it worst than Stowaways? I'd have to think about that. But this episode gets...
    2/10

You're so right. The way the season's pacing behaves more like "switching it up so people don't get bored" rather than "keeping a consistent tone and focusing on actually developing the plot" feels almost degrading to the viewer, like they don't expect you to actually remember what happened in the previous episode.
