Very nice video! Thanks! Is there any chance to shoot panoramas, adjust colors and lights at home, and build a tour on the computer? Then submit it from the computer.
Thank you for this video. I just got my first Ricoh 360 camera to offer my clients the Zillow tours. I have been using Matterport Pro2 about 2 years and my market is wanting Zillow. Question, after tour is processed, then placed on Zillow once, is it OK to delete the scans from the iPad and/or the camera? Also, can the finished tours be used on non-Zillow platforms. Thanks. Marty
Tom, Thanks for the video. When you have to return to do a second shoot, do you delete the first? Am I correct you can not update the tours if you miss a room and you have to shoot again?
Thank you for the video, good stuff! In a tutorial video by Emily Olman, Hopscotch Interactive (SHOOT ZILLOW 3D TOURS AND FLOOR PLANS LIKE A PRO!), she says to place the Zillow Chart vertically to the camera? Where you place it like I would, logically, though you do it without much care of the angle, you just drop it, no measuring, with the Zillow logo facing the camera. Do you know if that makes any difference at all???? AND I've made a good living as a video editor, and over the last few years I've been shooting 360 videos, post to UA-cam, I own the Ricoh Theta V (since 2018) and I just recently bought a new Insta360 X3. For Zillow 3D Home Tours, do you know which offers best image quality (HDR and the like) between the 2 cameras? I will be testing that this week, and will do the same home with both cameras and different camera settings. I am interested in doing Zillow 3D Home Tours, but it looks like you don't make money doing this? I understand a typical rate might be around $200 per home!!?? You'd have to do at least 1 home a day, 5 days to make any decent living... in my case I'd need to to 10 homes a week! I need to make $2,000 a week.... is that possible doing Zillow 3D Home Tours???? How can you possibly make a living at this, how do you find 20 homes per month clients! Thank you! JOHNAVATAR.com
Hi, I'll be the first to admit i'm not a zillow tour expert. In fact i've only done a handful of tours. I'd defer to Emily as she does way more than me! she's great btw! I don't "think" it makes any difference but again, i'm not an expert here. ahhh good question about which camera is better. I haven't used the x3. I have the insta 360 one rs 1 inch and like it! probably moreso than the theta z1 that I also have. I dont get a lot of orders for zillow home tours but I also don't advertise it too much. it is an option to purchase on my website but its not something we see a lot of. We do more Matterports and iGuides by far.
Great video. Thank you for taking the time to show step by step.

I haven't had to go back to re-do a zillow space, I think you'd have to start over, good question though, I don't really know.
love the video! do you need to have data or internet connection for the actual shoot or can you upload later when you are back at the office
I always upload while on site just in case there are any issues.
Hi i have an insta 360 x3 with sticky lens, & I know the stichibg isn’t the best. Any tips in how to fix the stitching with Zillow?
Hi, sorry, I don't have any tips on this.
So im a Realtor. Would i have to have it as an active listing first to post the 3D tour?
Yes, from what I believe the property has to be active on zillow for the zillow home tour to show.

What is the device hanging/plugged into the camera?
its an external battery pack. Ayeway Battery Pack: amzn.to/3WiUiti
Your Zillow 3D Home Tour does not show up at that link?
oh yes, because the house sold so its removed once that happens.
Some verticals aren't straight, does that matter?
I believe zillow corrects this a bit, It didn't matter too much to the client.
