Replacement windscreen rubber • 1966 Hillman Imp Super

- Опубліковано 16 жов 2024
- During our Summer Gathering of some Hillman Imp Owners, a small team of experts, namely Tim Sears and daughter, helped me replace the rubber seal around my windscreen. Long overdue it had become rather leaky and in rainy weather was tending to let water in to the car.
My thanks go to Tim and his helper for their skill and expertise to help swap the rubber seal over. There were many other folk on hand to help too but Tim’s significant expertise led the way during the project. Tim, thank you again.
I hope you enjoy watching this video and feel that you have tagged along as well.

Excellent stuff, I have a 66 Super Imp too and I`m glad to say that my windscreen rubber is fine.
Hey nice. Are you a Club member? How long have you had your Imp? Thanks for following along. Cheers, Warren :)
@@Linleys Hiya, yes I am a club member but only had the Imp a couple of months, I need to rebuild the carb cos it doesn`t exactly run too well. I`ll keep watching, Hazel.
A long tedious effort required but the end result is fantastic Warren. Bushyboy Oz.
Tim and his daughter are experienced in this job so, with a bit of help from a few more hands, did it without any real fuss. And such a good job done. The old seal leaked a lot! Cheers, Warren :)
